It was recently confirmed that the reality TV series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, that defined an entire generation was coming to an end after 18 seasons.
While Kris Jenner claimed that the Kardashian/Jenner sisters decided to wrap up the controversial docu-series, it has been revealed that not everyone is happy about the decision.
Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are elated because of their other business ventures. However, that is not the case for Khloé Kardashian.
Kris revealed in an interview that Khloé was hit by the news the hardest and had been crying nonstop.
The momager explained: “We had to tell the crew yesterday, so we were all crying. But I think Khloé…is probably the one who is taking it the hardest and really hasn’t stopped crying since we announced. She’s been so sweet and just emotional about it.”
A source close to the family explained that Khloé did not want the show to end because it was easy money.
The insider explained: “Some of them needed the money more than others.”
According to the insider, Kylie, Kendall Jenner, and Kim, who are multi-millionaires, no longer wanted to be part of Keeping Up With the Kardashians because it was not the best strategy for them.
The source shared: “The family have been locked in an ongoing debate over the future of the show for months now. Kim has all the drama with Kanye West going on. He’s refusing to put anything personal on the show, and it’s increasingly difficult for Kim to find time to film the show.”
Kim wanted to focus on a more private chapter in her life — quietly deal with her marital problems and husband Kanye West‘s mental issues.
As for Kylie, she never liked being on TV and is now enjoying her newfound freedom away from the spotlight.
The family friend shared: “Kylie is making billions of dollars through her makeup line and product endorsements. She doesn’t need the show, and like Kendall, she has always struggled with fame and being in the spotlight. Filming the show meant having to be in LA with her family, now she is free to fly off on holiday, or follow Travis Scott on his next tour.”
Khloé, who is devastated that her easy and reliable payday was cut off, now has to use social media to land lucrative cosmetic and fashion deals and paid advertisement for famous brands.
