Rapper Lil Wayne has rattled the Internet by announcing his full-throttled endorsement of President Donald Trump with a picture and message.
Lil Wayne, whose real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., took to social media where he announced that he recently had a great meeting with President Trump.
He shared a photo of himself standing next to Trump — the men are in front of an impressive display of American flags.
The 38-year-old MC from Louisiana explained in the caption: “Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership.”
The Young Money artist continued: “He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done.”
The so-called Platinum Plan contains elements being pushed by rapper Ice Cube.

Ice Cube claims his plan will provide jobs for Black Americans and close the opportunity gap in the country via a series of reforms.
He has, therefore, met with top members of the Trump administration to collaborate on the plan.
He is being slammed for working with a president who failed to rebuke the KKK and protect the American people during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic that has killed more than 200,000 people.
Ice Cube defended himself against the attacks by saying: “Who cares? At the end of the day, they’re mad because I’m just willing to work with anybody that’s willing to work with me to see some of these things that’s in the contract with Black America come to pass.”
He added: “I’m a citizen of this country just like everybody else, and I can say what I want to say. I’m not aligned with anybody’s personal views; I only care about what they do in public as far as helping the public and you know, empty rhetoric, empty talk, everybody’s popping off, at the end of the day we need to get what we need in this country to survive. If we don’t get that, this country won’t survive.”
He concluded by: “I’ve always been a messenger my whole career. I’ve always been able to say things, see things that end up happening, and look; I see the writing on the wall. This is not sustainable.”
50 Cent, who previously showed support for Trump, slammed Lil Wayne by saying: “oh no, ? WAYNE?♂️, I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOOK THIS PICTURE.”
A critic blasted Lil Wayne for the endorsement, saying: “Bruh, he’s been the president for 4 years…WTF IS WRONG WITH YALL. he’s had plenty of opportunities to developed and implement a “black plan,” and he didn’t.”
This person claimed the picture of Trump and Lil Wayne was photoshopped and added: “I think Trump photoshopped little Wayne in this pic.”
This rap fan wrote: “It’s not justice cube, 50 Cent, and lil Wayne. This is how all your favorite rappers feel. All black celebrities are voting for TRUMP only because they got money, and it’s sad. Stay woke and vote.”
Lil Wayne has always been more pro-Republican than most entertainers. It is worth noting that he did not really urge people to vote for Trump.
