Like millions of other people, Prince William has been forced to be in quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic, and he has hinted at a little weight gain during the downtime.
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, has been at home since the Spring of 2020 with his wife, Kate Middleton, and their three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis of Cambridge.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and her husband have been entertaining their children with various activities, including Prince Louis’s obsession — baking.
In a new interview, Prince William connected with royal fans worldwide by admitting that eating all these delicious pastries has led to him adding a few pounds.
The future King appeared in a video call with several deployed members of the Royal Navy, the Army, and the Royal Air Force.
While talking about the importance of Remembrance Day, he was reminded of the extraordinary event he participated in 2008.
William, a pilot with the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue Force, helped in a massive $50 million drug bust aboard the HMS Iron Duke in the Caribbean.
While reminiscing on the story, physical instructor Damon Bell shared: “Only half of what you got on Iron Duke, but still nonetheless very good.”
William laughed and responded by: “I wasn’t going to bring that up, but I’m glad that’s still being talked about. I remember being beasted by people like you, Damon, on the Iron Duke. The on-deck PT was always quite a fun afternoon. I think after a number of lockdowns, I might need your PT skills to help get back into shape again.”

In the summer, Prince William admitted to a group of ambulance workers in Kings Lynn, Norfolk: “I’m worried about the waistline of the nation as well with all the chocolate and cakes. I’ve done a lot of baking at home. Chocolate goes down very well!”
In a Zoom meeting with children during the Easter holiday, Prince William stated: “There will be a lot of chocolate being eaten here, don’t worry!”
Kate called him out by saying: “You keep eating it!”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge melted hearts recently by teaming up with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to bake delicious poppy cupcakes that were delivered to the Royal British Legion’s Norfolk care home.
William is not the only member of the royal family with a sweet tooth — Queen Elizabeth‘s former chef said she is a total “chocaholic.”
Prince Phillip is obsessed with cooking shows, just like Prince Louis.
