Kimora Lee Simmons announced she was relaunching her fashion business more than two years ago, and she is continuing to involve her gorgeous daughters — Ming and Aoki — with the clothing collections, as they released stunning pictures from a photoshoot this week wearing brand new dresses.
It would not be the first time that 21-year-old Ming Lee Simmons and 18-year-old Aoki Lee Simmons have helped their mother with designing and launching a new collection for the business Baby Phat, which Kimora Lee Simmons, 45, recently reacquired after it was bought out by a private firm in 2010.
When Kimora decided to revamp the brand, she told Entertainment Tonight that it was part of her legacy.
She revealed: “Only today I can say that we are what we set out to be 20-something years ago, which is a heritage brand, which is a legacy brand. We wanted something that would stay around.”
After the trio successfully launched Baby Phat Beauty last summer, they are back working as a collective to launch a new collection of stunning dresses — modeled by Ming and Aoki themselves.
In the new photos, Ming models a revealing brown dress as she poses against a bookshelf lined with books and ornaments. In other pictures, she wore a pink dress and a large matching scarf.
Her younger sister, Aoki, wore a similar style of dress in a leopard print pattern, along with some of the brand’s own jewelry.
All the dresses are made from 100% polyester with super stretch fabric, with Ming and Aoki involved in the designing process.

While they are not designing clothing and modeling for Baby Phat, Ming and Aoki spend much of their time away from home studying at the university.
Ming is studying at New York University, while Aoki is further away at Harvard in Massachusetts.
Kimora Lee Simmons was married to their father, Russell Simmons, for more than ten years, from 1998 until their divorce was finalized in 2009.
Their daughters are no stranger to the world of fashion — having joined their mother during New York Fashion Week in 2007 and recently being signed to One Model Management.
