American Airlines’ Apology For Pilot’s ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Sticker Leads To Complaints From Conservatives

American Airlines Apology For Pilot Let s Go Brandon Sticker

Dana Finley Morrison, an American Airlines passenger, has been labeled a “Karen” and received criticism for complaining about a pilot who had a “Let’s Go Brandon” sticker on his luggage case.

“Let’s Go Brandon” is an offensive term used by some on the right to say “Fu*k Joe Biden.”

Since September, the slogan has been circulating when a reporter at a race car event misheard chants of “F*** Joe Biden” for “Let’s Go Brandon.”

The euphemism has become a famous rally cry among those who disapprove of the current President.

Posting screenshots to social media of her alleged email exchanges with the airline, Missouri-based Morrison took to the Internet to criticize the pilot’s use of the sticker.

Morrison was flying from Saint Lucia to Miami, Florida, when she noticed the sticker criticizing US President Joe Biden.

On her Twitter account, Morrison asked American Airlines whether they were “cool” with their pilots using “cowardly rhetoric” on their luggage while on the job.

She and other passengers were “disgusted,” Morrison said as she slammed the airline on social media.

Her tweet read: “Y’all cool with your pilots displaying this kind of cowardly rhetoric on their crew luggage when they’re in uniform, about to board a plane? We are not the only passengers who noticed and were disgusted.”

In the alleged screenshots of the emails she shared, the representative of American Airlines asks Morrison to share any further details and thanks her for bringing the issue to their attention, and they plan to investigate the situation.

The airline replied with this message: “Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we want to get this to the right team. Please DM any additional details. We hold our team members to the highest standards and expectations.”

While the pilot’s name has not been released, and it is unclear whether he will face disciplinary procedures, American Airlines stated that only preapproved badges can be worn by their staff.

These include a gay pride pin and a military veterans pin, and staff can wear up to three at a time.

However, other social media users were quick to point out that American Airlines were being hypocrites because they had a “Stand for Change” pin in 2020 in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Many staff wore pins that had not even been approved, with the airline issuing a statement to say they were allowing staff to stand in solidarity with the “movement for equity and justice for Black Americans.”

Social media users pushed back by saying this is hypocritical, and some called Morrison a “Karen” — a familiar term used for an entitled and offensive White woman.

Mollie Hemingway, conservative commentator and an editor at The Federalist, slammed Morrison and voiced her support for the pilot by saying: “Hope he and everyone else gets a raise for having to deal with Karen passengers such as this one.”

Christina Pushaw, Ron DeSantis’s press secretary, rushed to social media to add: “This pilot deserves a raise for dealing with entitled Karens while doing his job.”

Some Republican voters have threatened to never fly with the company again if they reprimand the pilot with the infamous sticker.
