Prince Harry’s Best Friend Made Devastating Comment About His New Pals Like Oprah Winfrey

As Prince Harry bonds with Oprah Winfrey with their countless interviews and business ventures, a heartbreaking comment made by one of his friends has resurfaced.

Since exiting London, Prince Harry and his wife have developed a close relationship with Oprah. Not only they are close neighbors, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sat down with the mogul for a shocking interview that rocked the royal family with their truth bombs that included racism accusations.

The actress said she was neglected when she confessed to having suicidal thoughts. After the damaging tell-all interview in March, Prince Harry teamed up with Oprah for an AppleTV+ series titled The Me You Can’t See, which focuses on mental health.

And Prince Harry used the show to reveal that he suffered from generational pain because Prince Charles failed as a parent.

Long before Prince Harry started working with Oprah, one of his oldest friends knew they were losing him. One of the Duke of Sussex’s closest pals, Thomas “Skippy” Inskip, even commented, “we’ve lost him” on the day that Prince Harry and the Suits star had the lavish royal wedding.

It appears that at the time, Skippy realized that Prince Harry was so impressed by Meghan Markle’s celebrity acquaintances such as George Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, and Priyanka Chopra that he completely forgot about his old pals.

Skippy told friends at a brunch the day after the wedding: “Meghan has changed Harry too much.” He said the prince was awed by the likes of the Clooneys and Oprah Winfrey, adding: “We’ve lost him.”

Many of Prince Harry’s old friends, who attended the wedding, were surprised by the guest list that included many high-profile celebrities.

Skippy had the impression the newlyweds were telling old friends like him: “These are the people we want in our lives moving forward.”

In addition, Skippy, who was close to the Duke of Sussex ever since they met as students at Eton, was initially reserved towards Meghan Markle.

He reportedly asked the young royal to be more careful with the actress and that it would be better for the two of them to take their relationship slowly.

However, it seems that Prince Harry was not pleased with the concerns of his old friend, and as a result, even though Skippy and his wife, Lara, were invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding, they were not allowed access to the more exclusive dinner reception at Frogmore House.

Some believed that Skippy’s absence from the party at Frogmore House was a form of punishment from the Duke of Sussex, especially when Meghan’s friends — George Clooney and Oprah Winfrey, were present at the exclusive event.

According to the authors of the royal biography Finding Freedom, Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, Skippy was not the only one who was suspicious of Meghan at first because Prince William also advised his younger brother to be careful with the American actress.

Most recently, Meghan Markle’s estranged father, Thomas Markle, slammed Oprah Winfrey for taking advantage of a “weak” Prince Harry.

Thomas Markle stated: “For one, I think Oprah Winfrey is playing Harry and Meghan. I think she’s using them to build her network and build her new shows, and I think she’s taking advantage of a very weakened man and getting him to say things that you just shouldn’t be saying on television.”

He added: “I think it’s a setup. I think she’s patting herself on the back and making a lot of money from this. I think Harry is being put in a position where he’s saying things he’ll never be able to take back. That’s a horrible thing.”

The power couple just welcomed their second child.
