Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Set To Steal The Spotlight With An Award From Queen Elizabeth — Some Taxpayers And Royal Fans Are Fuming

Prince Harry Meghan Markle Queen Elizabeth Awards

Who says you cannot go back home? Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are not only returning to England soon, but they are also set to be honored.

With the help of numerous royal family members, Queen Elizabeth II is planning huge festivities around a historic occasion that will take place in the year 2022.

Having acceded to the throne on February 6, 1952, at the young age of 25, Queen Elizabeth, who has seen wars, rise and fall of nations, watched many presidents and dictators take power and the remarkable progress of society, will mark 70 years on the throne.

To commemorate the Queen’s seven-decade reign, there will be a military spectacle, a parade, pageants, and concerts.

Her Majesty and members of the royal family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to travel around the country to participate in various engagements and charity works during this joyous milestone.

It has been confirmed that Queen Elizabeth will mark her record-breaking 70 years on the throne by awarding her family medals.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed that the Platinum Jubilee medals will go to many of her relatives, including some senior working royals, others who choose not to live a life of service, and a few who are no longer allowed to take part in official engagements.

British citizens and royal fans were left boiling with anger when they discovered Her Majesty has decided to honor Prince Andrew, Duke of York, who is currently fighting against sex abuse allegations, and a lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre.

The woman, now 38, claims that the royal, who has ties to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, had sexually abused her when she was 17 years old.

Many are upset to learn that Meghan Marke and Prince Harry, who stepped down as working royals in 2020 and made bombshell allegations against the royal family, are also set to receive medals from Queen Elizabeth.

The Queen has invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their two children to the celebration.

Many predict that the power couple, who have a tell-all book to sell and brand to grow, will be present because it is a great PR move.

Royal commentator and journalist Daniela Elser added that Elizabeth II should tread carefully with the decision to elevate three people who the British people do not like at the moment.

The journalist opined: “For the Queen, the decision to not rock the boat and to hew to what she did in 2012, rather than listening to her people, therefore, pursuing a different approach, is a serious gamble.”

Royal commentator Robert Jobson chimed in to say why the pair’s decision to attend the event is a bad idea: “We have to wait and see. … Harry, I’m sure he thinks he’ll be there for the [Platinum Jubilee], them doting on the Queen will be seen as hypocritical after their public statements against the palace. But you’ve got to remember that within months, he’s going to have a book coming out. … It’s going to be quite awkward.”

Many taxpayers have taken to social media to share their displeasure with Queen Elizabeth’s decision to award Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

One person said the activists would use the moment to their benefit and went on to add: “Can you imagine how Harry and Meghan will milk this ? I can just picture her face up there! The monarchy is really not reading the room here!”

Another called out The Queen for the horrible decision by writing: “It doesn’t matter if it’s commemorative or not. What matters is OPTIC. What’s next? She’s inviting Harry, Meghan, Andrew for the Jubilee because it’s family?? F that! She’s lost her mind.”

This third royal backer said it was disgraceful of the Queen. The woman wrote: “I have no respect for those medals at all now! Andrew, Harry n anyone who has not had royal duties should not be getting those medals! Disgraceful, I’m not going to watch them congratulate their family members for sitting and doing nothing.”

It might be an attempt at peace.
