Prince William is furious at Prince Harry for a long list of reasons, but one of his friends recently revealed why his anger runs so deep.

The heir to the throne recently celebrated his 40th birthday, and for that superb occasion, a few journalists decided to take a closer look at his accomplishments compared to what his father, Prince Charles, had done when he was 40.
While Prince Charles had already cemented his legacy at that age, Prince William has yet to make any revolutionary changes to the monarchy.
Friends of Prince William explained that he was not in a rush to put his imprint on the royal business — he planned to do so with the help of his wife, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle.
Pals of the future king, who sat down with journalist Gordon Rayner, revealed that he wanted to use this new decade of his life with the backing of the Cambridge/Sussex “Fab Four” to start to map out his reign.
However, Prince William’s lifelong dream was ruined because of Prince Harry and his spouse Meghan Markle’s decision in 2020 to step down from their royal duties and move to California.
“Megxit” has forced Prince William to “start from scratch,” according to the Telegraph‘s associate editor, who said: “While Charles had already been Prince of Wales for 31 years by that stage, founding organizations that will long outlive him, William’s public life – or the part of it that he will be remembered for – has barely begun. As the heir to the heir, William’s royal duties are yet to get out of second gear. The public side of his life is dominated by the unavoidable fact that he could become the Prince of Wales at any moment. At a time when his contemporaries might be mapping out the next five to 10 years of their careers, the Duke of Cambridge finds himself in limbo.”
A pal of Prince William continued to share more details about the Duke of Cambridge‘s grand plan for the next 20 years: “His life will change hugely when he becomes Prince of Wales. He will be in charge of the Duchy of Cornwall, a billion-pound business empire, and will be expected to carry out far more royal engagements, especially abroad. It’s part of the reason he has never really had a grand plan that might have involved signing up for something that might take 20 years to achieve because he has always known this is coming down the line.”
A shameless Prince William feels that he is one of Prince Harry and Markle’s victims who is forced to swallow a wild pill and rearrange his life because of their shocking decisions.
A friend went on to explain how Prince William feels after failing at his goal by saying: “William has been as much a victim of events as of circumstance: he did settle on a plan to spend the second half of his 30s tackling the world’s ills using the star power of the Cambridge/Sussex ‘Fab Four,’ only for Harry and Meghan to walk away.”
The author concluded by: “Friends say Megxit left him having to ‘start from scratch, with Covid further hampering his attempts to define his public role.”
Prince William not being able to achieve his plan is yet another reason why the two brothers will not be able to make peace anytime soon.
