Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, appeared happy and in love in a series of photos that have made their way on the Internet recently.
The Duke of Sussex and Duchess of Sussex, who have been living in California for over a month now, were seen delivering items to a charity that helps people during the coronavirus pandemic.
The photos that surfaced online showed the pair holding hands and rubbing each other’s backs as they did their charitable works.
However, a source recently revealed that weeks after deciding to move to California, the Duke of Sussex finds himself like a fish out of water for several reasons.
According to the insider who spoke to the reliable magazine Vanity Fair, it was revealed that while Harry is happy about leaving London and the strict royal protocols behind, he finds that his American life is lacking structure, and he is sometimes lonely.
The person, who seems to have ties to Harry, explained why he is missing his native Britain: “He has a lot of friends in the military community in the UK, and of course he misses them. This is a very strange time for us all, but I think Harry is missing having a structure to his life right now. He doesn’t have friends in LA like Meghan, and he doesn’t have a job. So at the moment, he’s a bit rudderless, but it won’t always be like this, and he knows that.”
While Los Angeles-born Meghan is surrounded by her family and friends, Harry “doesn’t have friends” in the Golden State, and he has yet to land a job because his speaking engagements have been put on pause because of the health crisis.
The source went on to explain to the publication: “Harry has been on lots of conference calls and has been very busy keeping in touch with friends and colleagues. He is keeping up regular communication with all of the organizations he works with at home in the UK. So at the moment, he’s a bit rudderless, it won’t always be like this.”
Harry’s decision to leave England forced Queen Elizabeth II to request that he no longer use his official military appointments.
The power couple, who also gave up their HRH titles, has recently launched a new charity called Archewell. Fans have a lot to say about Harry’s loneliness in Los Angeles.
A social media user reached out to Archie‘s parents to say the following: “People will always look for something to say about them. I hope that they continue to do what they feel is right for them. Haters will always be haters no matter what you do or say. God bless Meghan and Harry.”
This fan said the royal couple should be left alone and added: “Harry, Archie, and Meghan’s living arrangements in the United States should be kept as private as possible. Regarding their “private citizens” status, Harry and Archie are royals by birthright. Meghan’s marriage to Prince Harry makes her royalty as well. Their privacy and safety are paramount and should be treated as such by everyone.”
Some royal experts are wondering if Harry will ever be truly happy in his new country.
