Queen Elizabeth Puts Her Foot Down On Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Distraction During Visit To London

Queen Elizabeth Prince Harry Meghan Markle UK Meeting Children

Earlier this week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle created a media frenzy by announcing they planned to travel to England and Germany in September.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said via their spokesperson that they will be in England to participate in two charity events and will later fly to Germany to promote the Invictus Games that will take place in 2023.

The announcement sparked a wild frenzy because Markle and Prince Harry’s itinerary is perfectly aligned with Queen Elizabeth II‘s schedule.

In early September, Queen Elizabeth will be forced to interrupt her summer holiday in Balmoral Castle and return to London to meet with the new Prime Minister.

Because Her Majesty will be in London at the same time as Prince Harry and his wife, the world has been wondering if they will meet.

The Queen has decided to lift the veil on the situation. A reliable royal source from within the Palace spoke to The Daily Beast and hinted that the 96-year-old Monarch runs a tight ship with a diary that has been planned months ahead.

The person from Buckingham Palace revealed that it would be a struggle for Her Majesty to spare 15 minutes for her grandson and his wife during their visit to England because of her “assiduous work ethic.”

The source made it clear that Her Majesty cannot move things around.

The publication said: “Queen Elizabeth may struggle to meet Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they visit the U.K. next month as the aging monarch has an exceptionally busy week at the beginning of September, and, sources at Buckingham Palace said, “Some things cannot be moved.”

Sources at Buckingham Palace told The Daily Beast that Her Majesty might not be able to deliver on the expectations bestowed on her because she has numerous constitutional duties to perform.

The insider hinted that Her Majesty would be extremely busy and might not be able to give an audience to the duo.

The source said: “…that while there was no intention to steer expectations one way or the other around Harry and Meghan getting or not getting an audience with the queen, it is a simple fact that the week commencing September 5 is jam-packed with constitutional duties for the queen.”

The media outlet went on to lay out all the reasons why Her Majesty might not have time for distractions like Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Her Majesty will do her due diligence and study before meeting the Prime Minister and avoid all interferences.

It was revealed: “The most public of the Queen’s duties that week is to hold an audience with Britain’s new prime minister on September 6. While this is not in itself a particularly lengthy meeting, the Queen, who is known for her assiduous work ethic, will demand extensive briefing notes to prepare for her meeting with the new PM (likely to be right-winger Liz Truss) and would be unlikely to welcome trifling domestic distractions as she prepares to anoint the woman who might, conceivably, be her last prime minister.”

Some observers say the statement is an indication of the tense relationship between Prince Harry and his family.
