King Charles’s Brutal Tweet Is A Direct Slap For Prince William

When it comes to the Royal Family, it seems that a war has started between King Charles III and one of his sons immediately after ending or at least pausing a feud with the other one.

Prince Harry has stopped talking about the Royal Family; therefore, King Charles is more inclined to have what seems to be a détente with his son.

However, it has been confirmed that another drama is brewing between His Majesty and Prince William.

The tension between the father and the heir began about a week ago when Prince William conducted multiple interviews to reveal his latest lifelong mission: he is dedicating himself for the next five years to ending homelessness in the UK.

Without his wife, Kate Middleton, by his side, Prince William embarked on a six-city tour to talk to locals and experts on how to resolve such a huge issue.

Less than 24 hours after Prince William completed his mini UK tour, King Charles comes out swinging with a brutal attack.

His Majesty has made it clear that he is not happy that the heir to the throne has been prancing around talking about his plans to help those without homes.

King Charles is upset that Prince William has declined or refused to mention in his interviews that another member of the Royal Family has been at the forefront of the topic.

Long before Prince William stepped up to the plate to fight against homelessness, King Charles was leading the charge.

And King Charles was quick to remind the world of that fact. Via Twitter, King Charles’s charity, The Prince’s Foundation, has shared a post that is a direct and brutal slap at Prince William and his work.

The post highlighted King Charles’s work and accomplishments in housing. Richard Eden, the Daily Mail‘s diary editor, had more to say about King Charles’s massive dig.

He wrote: “His father’s officials are, however, keen to highlight the fact that William is not the first to launch such a crusade.”

He said the following about the King’s tweet: “Four years ago today, the Prince’s Foundation launched Housing Britain, a blueprint aimed at addressing issues around housing in the UK.”

Last week, the royal author explained that King Charles was irked by Prince William’s move to steal his thunder and his refusal to give him credit.

He said: “Prince William’s decision to give his first big interview as heir to the throne on the weekend of his father’s inaugural King’s Birthday Parade has put the cat among the pigeons at the palace, I hear. In the interview with The Sunday Times, the Prince talked about his ambitions to ‘end’ homelessness and failed to mention King Charles’s efforts to provide social housing when he was in charge of the Duchy of Cornwall.”

While Prince William declined to give King Charles credit for his new mission, he explained that his late mother, Princess Diana, inspired him to make this his life’s work.
