When Queen Elizabeth II passed away, Prince Harry wrote an emotional tribute to her. He thanked her for 70 years of service to the nation and for being a devoted and loving grandmother to him.
Many royal observers attacked Prince Harry for being so close yet far from the Queen. Prince Harry and Markle were in England to participate in charity events when the Queen died in Scotland.
Multiple reports claimed weeks prior that Queen Elizabeth invited Prince Harry, Markle, and their children — Archie and Lilibet Diana — to spend some time with her in Balmoral Castle, and they declined.
Many slammed Prince Harry and Markle for not spending time with the Queen, who was 96 years old, battling multiple health issues.
The couple was also attacked for not bringing Lilibet and Archie to Scotland, so they could bond with their great-grandmother before it was too late.
Eventually, it was too late; on September 8th, Her Majesty died, and Prince Harry was left scrambling to get a flight from London to Scotland.
According to a new book, Queen Elizabeth was battling cancer for some time which would explain the pain and mobility issues that she often spoke about.
Gyles Brandreth, a royal author and friend of the late Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, with the authorization of the royals, revealed via The Daily Mail: “I had heard that the Queen had a form of myeloma — bone marrow cancer — which would explain her tiredness and weight loss and those ‘mobility issues’ we were often told about during the last year or so of her life.”
He added: “The most common symptom of myeloma is bone pain, especially in the pelvis and lower back, and multiple myeloma is a disease that often affects the elderly. Currently, there is no known cure, but treatment — including medicines to help regulate the immune system and drugs that help prevent the weakening of the bones — can reduce the severity of its symptoms and extend the patient’s survival by months or two to three years.”
Buckingham Palace is painting Prince Harry as a villain, almost like a monster who knew about the Queen’s illness and had plans to share it in his book Spare.
King Charles III and other members of the British royal family have decided to authorize the leak of private information about Queen Elizabeth’s disease, so Prince Harry could not benefit from it.
Kinsey Schofield, founder, and creator of the To Di For Daily podcast, explained via Express: “Somebody messaged me today suggesting that perhaps — because I don’t know about you, but I’ve heard these rumors about bone marrow cancer for a very long time now — Gyles got permission from the family to include this in his book to ensure that it wasn’t breaking news if Harry included it in Spare, which I think is very intelligent.”
She added: “I think that very much could be it because we’ve heard the whispers, and perhaps the family wanted to control how that information was released.”
It is not known if Prince Harry will address the sensitive questions surrounding his grandmother’s cancer in Spare.
Did he know the Queen was ill? If yes, when did he find out? And why did he turn down the invitation to be with her before she passed?
