While the world is focused on the million-dollar question surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s invitation to the coronation, King Charles III is busy making quiet and brutal moves.
One of the most recent decisions will directly affect his grandson, Archie.
His Majesty, who is said to be fed up and hurt by the many damaging revelations made by Prince Harry and Markle, has decided to punish them and their son, Archie.
The Sovereign has already cooked up what seems to be a postmortem plan to strike back at Prince Harry and Archie.
A new report that surfaced via the Daily Mail revealed that King Charles could “have a trick up his sleeve” to prevent Archie from inheriting Prince Harry’s Duke of Sussex title.
Richard Eden told the Palace Confidential talk show: “I have heard it said that part of the reason is that the King wants to stop Archie from inheriting that title, the Duke of Sussex. So this might be part of that, so he has now set that precedent.”
King Charles let the world know that Prince Harry’s Duke of Sussex title would not go to his son when he announced the new dukedom of his brother, Prince Edward.
The royal expert claimed that when King Charles made his youngest brother Duke of Edinburgh, he made it clear that title only lasted one lifetime.
When Prince Edward dies, the title goes back to the monarchy, and he is not authorized to pass it on to his son.
It is all part of an elaborate plan to make sure that Prince Archie never becomes a Duke.
Eden explained: “But then, when Harry and Meghan started using the prince and princess titles for their children, it became clear this wasn’t going to happen, and then King Charles could hardly justify not giving Prince Edward the title he’d been promised by their parents. It was a big deal, and I really think that was behind it.”
King Charles’s decision to make Archie pay for his father’s sins creates a thorny situation with other senior members of the Royal Family.
Eden added: “The problem is that he’d have to do it with all the royal dukes, so he really wouldn’t want to do that to the very well-respected Dukes of Gloucester and Kent.”
Prince Harry and Markle recently announced that their children Lilibet and Archie would take their birthrights and use their titles.
It is not yet known if the Sussex children will attend their grandfather’s coronation ceremony because they have not yet been invited and they do not have any roles.
