Things around Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are forever being scrutinized, and the release of the bombshell book Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family has only engulfed the flames of curiosity.
Most recently, rumors have started to come out, implying that Prince Harry is no longer the man he used to be since he married Meghan, and it is not clear if those changes have been for the better, according to some people who know the prince.
Royal expert Angela Levin, who knows Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, said he is no longer charismatic and mischievously charming.
Levin stated: “Harry has changed enormously since I met him. I found that he was charismatic and had royal stardust about him.”
The biographer went on to say: “He was brilliant with people, especially if they were physically, emotionally, or psychologically damaged, he had a mischievous charm to him. Well, he has become a bit of a shadow of himself.”
Levin stated that the headline-making biography explained why Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Harry feel the way they do: “When you read the book, you realize the pile of grievances Meghan and Harry hold. This is going back a few years now; it is absolutely extraordinary. Most of these grievances are incredibly petty, but when you add them up, it is like a great big sandcastle.”
Levin went after Harry and Meghan, because they have been too focused on the negative aspects of their lives, and have been ignoring the good sides more and more often.
She revealed: “They ignore all of the wonderful things they have had, the prerogatives and chances to meet great people and do charity work they want to do. It seems to me they have focussed entirely on the negative.”
Prince Harry has not made any public comments on the book, although this can easily be explained by the fact that he is mainly focused on the pandemic and social justice in his latest virtual meetings.
Meanwhile, it looks like there is some distance being created between Meghan and the rest of the royal family.
It is not known if that is because of a general predisposition towards her, or a direct result of her actions and attitude.
It is clear at this point, though — this is shaping up to be one of the more turbulent relationships in the royal family and one that could have lasting repercussions on everyone around the prince and his wife.
