It seems that every couple of weeks, Melania Trump gives the world a detailed update on her feelings in regard to her husband’s mountain of legal issues.
The former first lady has not spoken to the media about Donald Trump‘s legal woes. Instead, she relies on close friends to get her message across.
The ex-president has been sued for mismanaging his campaign’s money, and he has been indicted twice. Most recently for hoarding stacks and boxes of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.
He will also have his day in court in Georgia for meddling in the state’s election results in 2020. A person close to the former model spoke to PEOPLE Magazine and revealed that, as Donald Trump’s wife, she sees all of this as a painful situation.
Melania Trump’s stance on the matter is different from her husband’s. While Trump is running around and delivering verbal punches to the politicians who orchestrate this charade and witch hunt, Melania Trump takes the trials more seriously, she thinks he is dancing with the danger of putting his career and reputation in peril.
The person in the know stated: “She doesn’t want anything to do with any of it.” The mother of one believes that these ordeals might cause real damage to her spouse.
The source added: “Although her husband feels the legal issues are witch-hunts, she prefers to stay away from making many comments as some of the recent evidence, especially in the Mar-a-Lago documents case, is quite damaging.”
Many political observers point to the fact that while Donald Trump might not go to jail, he will lose a substantial amount of money hiring lawyers for the endless court dates.
These numerous trials might force a small group to rethink their support of Trump, which could lead to his popularity taking a hit.
The real estate mogul has even found himself struggling to find legal representation.
Trump’s tough and chaotic ways of doing things have led to clashes with many of his lawyers, who have subsequently quit their posts.
The insider went on to share Melania Trump’s state of mind: “As is her way, Melania remains cool and aloof and prefers to go about her business. The recent indictment does not involve her, and while she may feel the evidence is damaging and that he has a rough road ahead, she has lived with other public humiliation for many years, including the sex scandals.”
