It seems that Prince William and his spouse, Kate Middleton, have decided to regroup, refocus, and come up with a great strategy to compete against the epic PR machines that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become in the past three years.

According to one expert, Prince William and Kate Middleton took the famous and brilliant words of advice given by their close friend and former first lady, Michelle Obama.

During a political speech, Barack Obama‘s wife pronounced this famous line: “When they go low, we go high.”

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle captivated the media and the world with their bombshell accusations and jaw-dropping revelations, the heir to the throne and his wife adopted the following plan: stay calm, carry on with royal business, and remain highly positive when in public.

Since the airing of interviews, the Netflix series, and the publication of Spare, Catherine, Princess of Wales, and her husband have decided to fight the negativity tossed at them with more public displays of affection.

Middleton made it her mission to slap Prince William’s butt during all royal engagements. The pair also brought out their secret weapons: their young children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

More than ever, the children have been put on display during royal events or casual family gatherings.

Woman magazine executive editor Hannah Fernando spoke to True Royalty’s The Royal Beat and revealed that the consequences of the revelations for Middleton and Prince William could have been detrimental to their reputations, but they brilliantly fought back.

The royal expert shared: “Go back a few months, and the brickbats that were being thrown at them could have come off really badly. But when someone else goes low, the Royal Family goes high, and they don’t say a word. This is William and Kate really coming back, fighting back, and being absolutely brilliant.”

Fernando went on to praise Prince William, who has brilliantly “carved a spot for himself as the new Prince of Wales” which was a tough feat because King Charles III held that title for over five decades.

The royal commentator added: “Prince William is coming up with his own ideas. He wants it to be real and he is putting his money where his mouth is. He realizes he can’t be normal as such, but he is trying to normalize himself as much as possible because he has a really big job coming up.”

The PR expert was particularly impressed by the publicity choices the Princess of Wales made during the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

PR and brand expert Mark Borkowski told Page Six, Prince William, and his wife have raised their profiles with a “positive” narrative.

Borkowski said: “William and Kate have created numerous official and informal photo opportunities, projecting a positive and united image as a couple. This curated and idealized image indicates their determination to own the narrative of hard-working, empathetic young royals. The recent appearance of Kate pre-tournament with the ball boys and girls was a great stunt.”

The apparent competition has made the Waleses better.
