King Charles Takes A Frustrating And Unsatisfactory Decision About Archie And Lilibet

King Charles III has many roles to play, and some royal watchers believe that he might be failing in the roles of grandfather and even father.

A group of royal commentators and some family members say that King Charles, while a steady and compassionate monarch, is not tough enough on Prince Harry and his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

This is the reason why King Charles has many royal backers frustrated with his sensitive moves.

While never officially acknowledging it, King Charles caved to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s demands for their children to receive their birthright titles.

Earlier this year, the Montecito couple shared a statement about the christening of their daughter and confirmed that, with King Charles’s authorization, their children have received the titles of Prince and Princess.

In a sit-down interview with the Daily Express, Tom Bower, author of Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors, explained that the move by King Charles to let his British-American grandchildren become Prince and Princess was a huge mistake.

He explained: “Harry and Meghan have undermined the monarchy and Charles has made a terrible mistake. He should have cut them off straight away. He should never have allowed their children to be made a prince and princess.”

The royal biographer continued by saying that King Charles should have cut Archie and Lilibet off.

He claimed: “And he shouldn’t have invited Harry to the coronation. He should have just cut them off.”

Many royal watchers are concerned by King Charles’s tenderness towards the Montecito royals.

This week, Richard Eden of Palace Confidential revealed that King Charles’s almost weakness towards Prince Harry is very unsatisfactory.

Talking about the King’s decision to let Prince Harry remain Counselor of State and now looking for ways for him to have a temporary residence in England is not right.

He compared Prince Harry’s situation to that of a person who quits a high-paying job and yet still demands the perks and benefits that he used to get as an employee.

The royal author claimed: “Imagine you’ve got a great new job; you get a lovely company car, as part of that; you get health care; you get use of the company gym. No, I can’t. That’s well outside my imagination. And you say look I’m quitting; I don’t want to do it. I want to go and make loads of money on the side. Okay, fair enough.”

He continued: “I’ll know, but I want to keep the car, and I’d like the benefits, and I want to use the gym. Where can I send my CV for that job that sounds fabulous? They need me as a counselor of State you know? I think the situation is like that, it absolutely is. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? Right, it’s going to get messy, isn’t it, I think it is, um, because it sounds like it has to be resolved one way or another .”

He further slammed the idea of giving Prince Harry a home by saying: “I suspect what may happen is what Rebecca’s suggesting that Harry will have because he’s got lots of court cases coming up he will be visiting quite regularly. And um, and he probably will have a kind of regular royal residence that will end up being put down as his sort of domicile, and that’s not really satisfactory. I don’t think I love the idea.”

The Sovereign is trying to find the right balance when dealing with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
