King Charles III is said to be seething with frustration and disappointment over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s audacious plan to embark on a tour that mirrors a royal visit to Africa.
Not missing a beat, Prince Harry quickly hit back with more trips. He is also ready to bring his two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Prince Harry and Markle dazzled like royalty and high-profile politicians in Nigeria for four days. The red carpets were rolled out for the husband and wife, who dined with top officials of the Nigerian government, met with heads of multiple charities, and took part in the usual photo ops with school children.
Meanwhile, it was revealed that King Charles and Prince William were fuming at the thunderous media coverage the imitation royal tour was receiving across the globe.
King Charles quickly banned all countries from the Commonwealth from inviting Prince Harry and Markle to any high-profile events. However, Ghana, a country that is a member of the Commonwealth, appears to have yet to receive King Charles’s memo and is eager to welcome Prince Harry and Markle.
Prince Harry has already announced that he looks forward to traveling more, and the latest reports claimed he is thinking about having his two children, Archie and Lilibet, with him.
Speaking to The Mirror, royal expert and author Tom Quinn explained what Prince Harry and Markle have in mind by saying: “Harry and Meghan are incredibly proud of their children, and when they are a little older and better able to travel, there is no doubt they will be taken on some of the couple’s tours.”
He continued: “Meghan is acutely aware of what a great look this will be – the charming royal couple with their charming royal children will attract the sort of publicity that Harry and Meghan crave, especially now that they are so determined to be billionaire entrepreneurs.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to include their children in their future tours is a bold and controversial move that is likely to further strain their already complicated relationships with Prince William and King Charles.
Quinn went on to say: “While Harry and Meghan go on with their increasingly prominent royal lives, Kate and William are left floundering, and Meghan and Harry know it.”
The bold decision from California could not come at a worse time for the monarchy, which had two of its main stars absent because of health issues.
