Charlie Kirk’s final words reveal a strategic pivot—and a broader legacy at stake.
Following the assassination of conservative business mogul Charlie Kirk, numerous private text messages and exchanges have surfaced, revealing details about his character, state of mind, and the possible future direction of his political and personal life.
In a surprising revelation, liberal political commentator, lawyer, and CNN liberal political commentator Van Jones recently shared the last message he received from the conservative activist just before he was killed in Idaho.
Kirk’s Last Wish: A Respectful Dialogue On Crime And Race
On Instagram, Jones shared the message in which Charlie Kirk reached out to him, requesting a “respectful sit-down for a conversation” on a topic close to both their hearts: crime and race.
The message from Kirk said: “Hey Van, I mean it, I’d love to have you on my show to have a respectful conversation about crime and race.”
Appearing on CNN, Jones explained that he and the Turning Point USA founder had been engaged in a brutal verbal fight for weeks.
Nonetheless, they were eventually able to “come to an understanding the way gentlemen do” and were ready to have a productive discussion on issues affecting millions of Americans.
The author explained: “I would be a gentleman as I know you would be as well. We can disagree about the issues agreeably.”
He again revealed that he and Kirk were far from being friends, because they had different opinions on many political and social matters.
Jones added that is why he was stunned when Kirk contacted him. He stated: “Charlie Kirk and I were not friends. At all, the message shocked me.”
CNN Analyst Shares Message To “Tamp Down The Civil War”
Jones admitted he was surprised by Kirk’s message, but felt it was important to share the exchange publicly. His motivation for releasing the text was to help tamp down the verbal civil war between liberals and conservatives and reduce the intense heat directed at Kirk and his family after his death.
The analyst stated: “In the past week and a half, just watching people talk about civil wars and censorship and all this stuff coming out of his death, I just thought it was important to let people know – Don’t put that on Charlie Kirk.”
Jones continued: “The last day of his life, he was reaching out to have not more censorship, [but] more conversation, more dialogue, with somebody who, honestly, was one of his adversaries – me.”
Jones concluded by saying that he hoped sharing Kirk’s last wishes with the world “might help somebody, on both sides, deal with issues more like he did.”
Josh Hammer Releases Final Texts To Refute Assassination Claims
Conservative, Jewish-American commentator Josh Hammer has reluctantly released the final text messages exchanged between himself and Charlie Kirk to clear his name — after Candace Owen accused him of having insider knowledge of Kirk’s assassination before it took place.
Here are the text messages: “CHARLIE KIRK: Thank you for the help today guys!
JOSH HAMMER: Good luck as the campus visits start! Don’t hesitate to let me know (or any of us know) how I/we can help.
What’s your first stop tomorrow, by the way?
UNKNOWN: Honored to be of assistance.
KIRK: Utah valley U!
UNKNOWN: Say hi to your Antifa friends
KIRK: [Prayer emoji].”
Other messages shared also suggest that Kirk was losing patience with Israel and was starting to rethink his unconditional support.
