Rihanna finds herself having flashbacks about her romance with Chris Brown. This week, Mr. Brown premiered his documentary called Welcome To My Life where he bares his soul.
The singer talks about his childhood in Virgina, his mother being a victim of domestic abuse, his rise to fame, and his very public fall.
However, a significant portion of the film is about the 2009 incident where he beat his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, after a heated argument over an infidelity.
After brutally assaulting the Barbadian star, Brown left her with a black eye and swollen lips on the side of a California road.
The “Look At Me Now” singer also confessed that he was planning to propose to Rihanna before the horrific fight.
Brown has been all over the media promoting the project, and according to a source, it has stirred something inside Rihanna.
The 29-year-old entertainer is now wondering, what if the night never occurred?
A close source to Rihanna said it is a bittersweet situation for Rihanna who wished she could change the events that took place the night before the Grammys.
The spy added: “Obviously it ended on a horrific note, but up until that point, it was great between them — at least most of the time. Rihanna cannot help thinking ‘what if?’ and how different her life would be if she and Chris tied the knot.”

Since she ended her romance with Brown, Rihanna has had an impressive list of boyfriends and hookups that includes Drake, Travis Scott, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ashton Kutcher.
However, according to the insider, she never stopped loving Brown.
The source explained: “Rihanna has really struggled to move on from Chris, nobody since has managed to live up to him. She knows that their relationship is not something she can revisit, but that does not mean that she does not still have feelings for Chris. She does, and probably always will in one way or another.”
