If the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James do not win the 2018 NBA championship, they will blame Khloe Kardashian and her heavy baggage filled with scandals for it.
It might surprise many, but despite the very public cheating scandal involving Miss Kardashian’s baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, she comes out at every came to root for her man and his teammates.
According to an NBA insider, Mr. James is privately telling the other players, he wished that the reality star stayed as far away as possible because thus far her presence has not been productive.
At this point, the team from Cleveland, Ohio has played three games against California’s Golden State Warriors.
They have suffered three humiliating losses with the first game going up in smoke because of a very distracted or maybe confused J.R. Smith.
Like most athletes, James and his men are very superstitious, and they are starting to ask themselves, is there a slight possibility the “Kardashian Curse” is real?
For those wondering what on earth is the “Kardashian Curse,” Kylie Jenner was glad to explain it on an episode of Keep Up With The Kardashians by saying: “The Kardashian curse is every male figure that comes and dates a Kardashian. Their life kind of just goes downhill after that.”
Some say Reggie Bush, James Harden, Lamar Odom, and Kris Humphries were all victims of the curse while they were dating or married to a Kardashian or Jenner sister.
It appears that the curse has hit Thompson, and James is concerned about the team and his future.
A source revealed to celebrity website Hollywood Life: “Cavaliers players are paranoid right now and fear the Kardashian curse might be a genuine thing as they face a finals sweep by the Warriors. LeBron and the rest of the players cannot help but think that Tristan brought Khloe along with bad luck to the Cleveland team. Professional athletes are very superstitious, and so they are looking for an explanation, logical or illogical, to explain their bad luck against the Warriors.”
The publication claims that James is weighing his options and might leave for another state when the finals are over.
