Entering the history books, Kylie Jenner graces the cover of Forbes magazine as she is set to become the youngest self-made billionaire on this planet.
However, not everyone is happy for the young reality star — case in point — Nene Leakes.
Leakes, who is a longtime cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and starred in the hit show Glee, made it known that Miss Jenner had it easier because she has famous parents and she was born into wealth.
Many people agreed with Leakes and took the opportunity to bash Travis Scott‘s girlfriend, and a source close to her told Hollywood Life that she is hurt by the comments.
A person with ties to the Jenner/Kardashian clan shared: “Kylie is sad that she is not getting the respect she feels she worked hard for and earned. She has worked so hard on her cosmetics line, no one handed it to her, and there was no blueprint to follow. Since day one she’s been the driving force behind making Kylie Cosmetics a 900 million dollar business. And now that she’s proven how much money can be made selling makeup online everyone’s jumped on the bandwagon, but she was the first, and she feels she is being disrespected and deserves the credit for all her hard work and marketing genius.”
The same insider went on to say: “As usual people are trying to ruin her moment and unfortunately the nasty comments about how she doesn’t deserve this really do hurt her. It hurts because she feels like she’s being bullied all over again. But at the end of the day, the negative comments and haters are only fuel for her to work harder and make another billion dollars.”
Jenner is not letting the negativity ruin her special moment in the spotlight, she shared her stunning cover of Forbes and captioned it: “Wow. I can’t believe I’m posting my very own @forbes cover. Thank you for this article and the recognition. I’m so blessed to do what I love every day. I couldn’t have dreamt this up! #KylieCosmetics.”
Do you agree with Leakes that Jenner had a better chance than others to be successful or do you think she still had to work hard to make her billion?
