Victorious Donald Trump Says The Russia Probe Was ‘An Illegal Takedown’ After Robert Mueller Investigation Ends

Donald Trump Robert Mueller Probe

President Donald Trump had an excellent reason to celebrate when he showed up at the White House just shortly after his presidential campaign in 2016 was proven to be free of Russian involvement, and the probe led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller concluded that so far the president could not be charged with obstruction of justice.

Following the end of Mueller’s investigation, the president could not hide his triumph, especially when he returned to the White House on Sunday and greeted the awaiting reporters with a huge smile.

He then commented twice that America was indeed “the greatest place on Earth.”

According to an unnamed key employee from the administration office, the president was filled with joy from the outcome of Mueller’s probe and had not looked so happy in months.

The anonymous source even compared Trump’s happiness from the situation with how he looked when he won the election back in 2016.

Trump’s triumph towards the lengthy 22-month Russia probe arrived with him deeming the investigation as an “illegal takedown that failed.”

He also expressed hope that “somebody is going to be looking at the other side.”

The president then commented that it was a shame that the country and its leader had to go through such an operation.

He stated: “There was no collusion with Russia, there was no obstruction and none whatsoever and it was a complete and total exoneration. It’s a shame that our country had to go through this. To be honest, it’s a shame that your president has had to go through this.”

The former reality TV star added: “Before I even got elected it began. And it began illegally. … This was an illegal takedown that failed, and hopefully, somebody is going to be looking at the other side. So a complete exoneration, no collusion, no obstruction.”

He also took it to Twitter, where he posted a victorious message, which he finished with the words, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

However, Mueller’s probe will not be the final investigation into his presidential deeds, as it is yet to be determined how exactly the Special Counsel came to the current findings.

Experts say the Mueller probe is unlikely to influence the next election.
