Frank Dawson, New Hampshire Supporter Donald Trump Called Fat, Says He Has Not Apologized And Still Owes POTUS ‘A Depth Of Gratitude’

Frank Dawson is a real fan of Donald Trump who loves and supports his president despite being fat-shamed on live television.

It appears that President Trump can say almost anything about his voters and they will have his back — case in point, Dawson.

On Thursday night, Trump held a campaign rally in  New Hampshire and he delivered a fiery speech where he bashed Democrats.

At some point, Trump was interrupted by a protester, and he was not pleased about it. POTUS assumed that Dawson was the attendee causing chaos at his event, so he lashed out by body-shaming him.

The commander-in-chief who mistook Dawson for a troublemaker had those harsh words: “That guy’s got a serious weight problem. Go home. Start exercising. Get him out of here, please. Got a bigger problem than I do.”

Dawson, who is a retired law enforcement officer and a vet, spoke to Griff Jenkins on Fox & Friends and said he holds no negative feelings about the president.

Dawson, who was wearing a navy “Trump 2020” T-shirt, said he understands that it was a misunderstanding and he loves and still supports Trump.

The man explained how the confusion took place: “He didn’t see me rip the signs away from those three people that were sitting near us.”

He went on to say: “They were trying to cause a ruckus, and they jumped up and started yelling something. I don’t even care what they were yelling, but it wasn’t going to happen beside me because I’m trying to listen to my president.”

The military veteran did an interview with Fox & Friends added this about the case of mistaken identity: “I don’t even care what they were yelling, but it wasn’t going to happen beside me because I’m trying to listen to my president. I think he thought I was part of it, but I wasn’t — I was the good part of it.”

Dawson, a die-hard supporter of the real estate mogul, said he laughed at the weight/fat joke and went on to share: “Everything’s good. I love the guy. He’s the best thing that ever happened to this country.”

Dawson said he received an unexpected phone call from Trump but was not able to answer because of poor cell service at the venue. Trump left a voicemail but did not apologize.

He said: “[Trump] did not apologize to me, nothing to apologize for. He thanked me for his support. It was a ‘thank you,’ he did not apologize to me. I owe [Trump] depth of gratitude because he called me. I was honored to be called… He’s a stand-up guy.”

Asked how he feels about the remarks regarding his weight, he stated: “Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me. … I really don’t care.”

While Dawson is fine with the harsh words, many are offended by them and have taken to social media to vent.

One person had this to say about the situation: “Okay pot calling the kettle black he’s gotta lot of nerve I wonder when was the last time he saw his feet while standing. This guy breeds a lot of hate. I’ve been a Republican since I was 18 and I can’t stand the current administration!!”

This angry Democrat wrote the following message on social media: “What president does that? Just because someone doesn’t agree with you, you’re going to bully or attacked them. Kids now days will say if the president does it, then it is okay for them to do it. GET HIM OUT !!!”

Another commenter, who found the words insulting, said: “What is the HELL wrong with this man? I mean when is it okay for the person who holds the highest office in our country to use his platform to fat shame anyone just because they don’t agree with him. Then again, it’s not surprising coming from him bullying seems to be what makes him thrive & makes him feel powerful. DISGUSTING.”

This voter gave this interesting opinion: “Wow!! How do they keep allowing this to happen? This is who kids look at as our president. How is this even okay? Kids grow up to someday be a president themselves; this is not the message and the man they need to look up to for that. Bullying and making fun of someone’s weight is not what kids need to hear. Kids die from bullying every day. We need to do better, and this is not it at all. Please take him out of office. This is disgusting to watch. ????.”

Trump told voters in New Hampshire that they had no choice but to vote for him in 2020.
