Logan Williams, the 17-year-old The Flash actor on the CW, who came to prominence for the portrayal of the young Barry Allen, was pronounced dead last Thursday and supporters are still mourning.
Following the tragic news, numerous people that knew the young actor took to social media to pay tribute to the late teenager.
Grant Gustin, who plays the role of mature Barry Allen in the same series, was among the ones who remembered Williams by writing a lengthy message that he shared on Instagram.
It read: “Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly. I was so impressed by not only Logan’s talent but his professionalism on set. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I’m sure an unimaginably difficult time for them. Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all. Sending love to everyone.”
The actor also shared a picture of him smiling with Williams and co-star Jesse L. Martin that was taken on the day they were filming the first episode of the show back in 2014.
In his message, Gustin stated that when he heard the news about the sudden passing of the teen, he felt devastated, because he was impressed not only by Williams’s talent but also by his professionalism on set.
Gustin concluded by sending his thoughts and prayers to the family of the late actor during these hard times. For the time being it remains unclear what caused the sudden death of the young actor, but his agent, Michelle Gauvin, issued a statement saying everyone was in shock and mourning the tragic loss and Williams, who was an exceptional talent, would be missed tremendously by all who knew him.
Gauvin stated: “We are in shock and mourning this tragic loss. Logan was an exceptional talent, with a kind heart, and an infectious spirit. We will all miss him tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.”
Furthermore, it was reported that the mother of the late actor, Marlyse Williams, was “absolutely devastated” by the unexpected demise of her son and his close ones could not even get together due to the current measures for self-isolation and social distancing.
Supporters say the cause of death is not really important, and people should focus on the fact that Williams is gone.
