Leah Remini has done a new interview where she opened up about Tom Cruise and the non-existing relationship with his daughter, Suri Cruise, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Holmes.
Leah sat down with The Post where she revealed how Scientology has made it impossible for Tom to see and spend time with his 14-year-old daughter since divorcing Katie.
Leah did try to scare Katie by explaining that Tom is working on a plan to indoctrinate Suri when she gets older. The King of Queens actress warned Katie that her former husband would do all he can to lure Suri away from the only parent she has known.
The Kevin Can Wait star explained: “Scientology considers Katie a suppressive person who is an enemy and therefore, Tom believes, like all Scientologists, that he can’t be connected to Suri. I’m sure his master plan is to wait until Suri gets older so that he can lure her into Scientology and away from her mother.”
Leah went on to say that she was shocked when Katie decided to end her marriage from Tom in 2012. The TV personality nonetheless said she is applauding Katie for taking drastic steps to protect her daughter.
The former Scientologist said: “I knew Katie when she was in [Scientology], and she seemed very indoctrinated into Tom’s world, but as time went on, and I understood why she did what she did to protect her daughter … I’m only assuming that there’s some type of agreement to protect her daughter.”
Leah was introduced to Scientology at the age of 9 with her mother. Leah, who left the church in 2013, previously made this revelation about Tom’s character: “Tom has gotten away with being this ‘nice guy,’ because that’s what Scientology policy says—to create good PR in the world and make those ‘good actions’ known. But if you actually look at his actions, they’re not consistent.”
She continued to slam the action star by saying: “He can’t keep a f–kin’ marriage together, he’s jumping on couches, he’s acting like he knows anything about postpartum. I learned pretty quickly that that’s not something you should be doing, because Tom Cruise is considered a messiah in Scientology. This is a man who has not even seen his own daughter in years. That this guy can be running around and having people think he’s this super-nice guy, I don’t get it. But that’s the Hollywood-bulls–t game people play.”
Leah is determined to bring her truth to the forefront.
