Melania Trump might know something the rest of the world is unaware of. The former first lady is famous for her fashion, decisive actions to protect her son, Barron Trump, and serious yet mysterious demeanor.
However, in the past few days, Donald Trump‘s wife made several brief public appearances where she was not her usual self. Photographers spotted the former model exiting the famous Trump Tower in New York, and she looked happy.
Indeed, the ordinarily sad Melania Trump flashed a giant smile at the photographers and journalists as she left the building and stepped into her chauffeured vehicle.
She also appeared light on her feet and seemed delighted to be seen. Of course, that delight on Melania Trump’s face led to some questions.
‘
What is there to smile about when her husband is embroiled in too many scandals to count, drowning in court cases, facing maybe billions of dollars of fines, and the slim possibility of going to jail?
According to some, Melania Trump is hopeful that the sentencing on July 11 will go better than planned. Some experts say that the drama caused by that bizarre Facebook post announcing that a juror had revealed the verdict before it was delivered in court will play in Trump’s favor.
Via Facebook, a user who calls himself “Michael Anderson” and who described himself as a “professional sh*t poster” claimed a juror spoke to a family member about the guilty verdict.
The person wrote: “My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted! Thank you folks, for all your hard work!!!!'” A comment by the same user on a different post said, “Thank you for all your hard [sic] against the MAGA crazies! My cousin is a juror on Trump’s criminal case, and they’re going to convict him tomorrow, according to her.”
Via Fox News, attorney William Trachman weighed in on the incident by saying: “These are the types of things that result in mistrials. And this doesn’t need to be about politics. It can be about justice. Anytime you have a juror who’s talking about what they are going to do — especially in the future, like, ‘We’re going to do this thing tomorrow’ – that’s a really grave issue with a jury. If this is true, it absolutely throws the whole verdict into question.”
A former federal prosecutor explained why there could be a mistrial: “Jury deliberations are sacred, and the defense usually can’t use juror discussions as a basis for a new trial or to appeal, even if the jurors misunderstood the facts or the law. One exception, however, is if outside influences are brought into the jury deliberation room.”
The whole thing might have been a hoax, but the former president is used to benefiting for these developments.
Some believe that Melania Trump is sending the message to Trumpland that he will prevail in court and will go out with the presidential election.
