The drama around Meghan Markle and her clashes with the royal family seems to be spilling into other celebrities’ lives.
Media mogul Tyler Perry is the most recent example of someone who has been hiding and ducking from discussing the complicated situation around Prince Harry and his wife.
It was recently confirmed that after leaving Canada, Prince Harry and Meghan rented a multi-million home that belongs to Perry.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, her husband, and their son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, stayed in the mansion until the paparazzi started hounding them and forced them to leave for a private home in Santa Barbara.
Perry recently appeared on CBS This Morning to talk about his latest projects, and Gayle King used the opportunity to ask about the current state of affairs around Meghan and the British royal family, but he was reluctant to give any answer at all.
King asked: “It’s been widely reported that Meghan and Harry are living at your place in Los Angeles. Can you tell us how they’re doing?”
Perry responded by: “I’m sorry, I think I just lost you, Gayle. I’m sorry. We have a really bad connection. I’m sorry. I think we lost Gayle King, guys. We lost her.”
That did not seem to surprise a lot of followers of the situation, as it looks like Meghan is all too determined to protect her privacy at all odds. The Suits star has reportedly been in conflict with members of the royal family over her attitude.
The many disagreements between the American actress and the family created a rift, according to the new book, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.
While it is not clear how far this is all going to go, it does paint a rather gloomy picture of Meghan, Prince Harry, and the royal family.
The feud will not end any time soon, for recent reports indicate that the family has apparently altered the official biography page for Meghan, removing certain references to her royal status, and moving bits about her education and career elsewhere.
While there has been no official statement regarding those changes, their implied intent seemed pretty obvious to anyone following those developments.
Harry and Meghan have moved to their own home and are trying to expand their universe with speaking engagements. Many experts predict that they could become important and power players in the entertainment industry.
