Lottie Moss is not afraid to bare it all in her photos, but this week, she has decided to give a glimpse inside her complicated and private family life.
The British model spoke to The Sun about her non-existing relationship with her iconic supermodel sister, Kate Moss.
When Lottie Moss burst onto the modeling scene, many believed that her older sister played a part in the matter.
The sisters were seen together on a few occasions, which led fans to assume that all was well in the Moss family.
Additionally, photos surfaced showing that Lottie Moss was a bridesmaid at Kate Moss’s wedding. Well, the rumors that all is peachy between the two models are not true.
In a conversation with The Sun, the 25-year-old social media star explained that she is no longer in contact with Kate Moss.
Lottie Moss went on to drop the bombshell that she and her half-sister were never close to start with.
Lottie Moss is the daughter of Peter Edward Moss and his second wife, Inger Solnordal. The OnlyFans star confessed that she was turned away by Kate Moss at a young age and never understood why.
Lottie Moss said she believes that the age difference is a factor in the great divide that exists in her family. Kate Moss, 49, and is 24 years older than Lottie Moss.
Lottie Moss confessed: “My sister has obviously struggled with things herself. She’s allowed to have that. She doesn’t have to want to have a relationship with me. When I was younger, I couldn’t understand it. I thought: ‘Why is someone in my family not wanting a relationship with me? I don’t get it.”
Lottie Moss said it was painful to feel rejected by her older sibling and added: “Me and my sister have never been close. There is a big age gap. I didn’t grow up with my sister giving us money. We had a tiny two-bedroom house. My parents were bankrupt. I paid for my private school myself with the money I made from modeling.”
Lottie Moss went on to explain that she has finally understood that families are complicated, but the distance from her sister still troubles her to some extent.
Lottie Moss stated: “But now I’ve learned, especially speaking to other friends who don’t speak to their mum or dad, that family is complicated. Just because she’s a really high-end model, it doesn’t mean that it’s any different in our family. We just don’t see eye-to-eye on many things. I love her. She’s my sister, but we’re just not close. It is what it is.”
The young woman is slowly finding her own way in the entertainment industry.
