Onyx Carter, the baby boy of Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti, has finally made his big debut on Instagram.
Iggy took to social media over the weekend, sharing two sweet pictures of her son, Onyx. In one photo, the femcee from Australia looks flawless while wearing a black bustier and tight skirt, and she has her child glued to her hip.
The beaming mother also posed in another picture where she is cradling her son. Iggy, who gave birth in May, kept her child away from social media until now.
When fans asked why she was hiding the infant, she issued a statement saying that she wanted to enjoy him before sharing him with the world.
Iggy decided to share the first photos of her son just hours after she revealed some heartbreaking news. The “Fancy” artist announced that she had split from her baby daddy and boyfriend, Playboi Carti.
Friday night, Iggy took to Twitter, where she told her ex that he lost a good woman who was loyal to him.
Iggy also called Playboi Carti a liar and added: “You lost a real 1. People take loyalty for granted & That’s why I’d rather be alone.”
She went on to explain that Playboi Carti lied to her and continued: “One thing I’ll never understand how liars live with themselves. That sh*t don’t eat you all up inside?”
Iggy concluded by: “What I meant last night was that I’m raising my son alone & I’m not in a relationship.”
Many fans are furious that Iggy has decided to show her baby as “a form of revenge” after splitting from Playboi Carti.
An angry social media user stated: “Soon as they break up, she wanna show the baby??♂️ these stars do anything for attention, and y’all feed right into it smh.”
Another unhappy follower chimed in: “She is only showing the baby cuz Carti played her. This her get back. ?Playa playbook 101. Publicly break up/ then reveal the child. Cardi been put students up on game ?? Baby handsome af tho. Just like his Dad.”
Iggy was slammed by a fan who claimed: “Ok, lemme get it straight, they broke up, and she decided to show the baby’s face?, so what’s the whole point of hiding him to even begin with??♀️ Anyway, cute baby tho…”
