Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have turned the lives of members of the British royal family upside down with their salacious revelations.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex used the sordid tales to make a lot of money and portray themselves as victims.
However, after getting some of the things they have always wanted, they had a change of heart. Prince Harry wants to reconcile with his father, King Charles III, and other royals.
Markle has decided to move on, and she no longer talks about her in-laws in interviews or speeches. Moreover, she has avoided going back to England to steer clear of any brutal confrontation with other royals and the British people.
Despite those moves, King Charles, his wife, Queen Camilla, Prince William, and Princess Kate are not showing any interest in the olive branch.
The Royal Family spent years worrying about how far the Sussexes would take the lucrative feud. However, things have changed, and they are no longer scared of the California royals.
The Prince and Princess of Wales believe that the Sussexes have thrown their best shots at them and more or less failed to leave a big dent.
For the Waleses, the Sussexes have little ammunition left, so there is no need to play nice with them. The heir to the throne and his spouse have gone from disappointment and hurt to indifference.
Additionally, insiders say that the Waleses believe that the Sussexes only have one way to go, down, so there is no need to throw anything their way.
Supporters of the royals say that the Waleses are making the right call by ignoring the Sussexes. For avid royal followers, there is no need to feed them more material.
Moreover, those fans say that the Royal Family is flourishing without all of the negativity. So, leaving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle behind is a simple way to protect the clan and the institution as a whole.
Insiders say that reconciliation is really on pause for the foreseeable future. Royal expert told Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine: “When you come from a happy, united family — as Catherine does — it’s incredibly hard to understand how people can become estranged.”
Bond added: “I think she believed the rift could be fixed and, after Prince Philip’s funeral, we saw her talking with Harry and obviously encouraging William to do the same. But we now know that it didn’t work.”
She also stated: “In fact, William and Harry had a blazing row right after the funeral. There comes a point when you just have to accept that happy families are not a game that everyone can play.”
Sources say that Prince William and his wife plan on staying above the fray to protect their reputation and the Royal Family.
The thing is is that William and Kate are who they are and will become even more so the closer they become to being king and queen but harry and megan are nobody’s and have to keep trying to reinvent themselves but their problem is is that they have gone about it the wrong way they let jealousy take over and have ended up with nothing in a way I feel sorry for them because by doing it the way they have they have left people hating them and I now think that it’s too late for them to come back as the song says one step beyond and they have taken that step as far as the British public are concerned
