Shailene Woodley Got Dragged In The Aaron Rodgers Vaccine Controversy Because Of This Meme

Shailene Woodley Aaron Rodgers Vaccine Drama

Divergent star Shailene Woodley, 29, is defending a message she posted on Instagram Friday.

The fiancée of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers uploaded on her Instagram Stories a cryptic quote. The meme was originally shared by @spiritdaughter.

The interesting note read: “Calm seas may bring you peace, but storms are where you’ll find your power.” Some were quick to link the message to Rodgers’s situation.

The NFL star has faced a lot of backlash over his refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine. He has recently tested positive for the virus.

However, the Big Little Lies actress is adamant that people are reading too much into the whole thing.

She hit back at those rushing to judgment by saying: “Just read somewhere that the media is claiming I deleted an Insta story amid the ‘chaos.’ (An astrology post of all things) (not cryptic at all, you dummies.) Do you even know how stories work, brah? They self-delete after 24 hours.”

She continued: “Literally lol’ing over here over your determination to make a story out of nothing. Grasping at straws, my dears.”

Woodley has always been honest about her support for a more natural lifestyle. In 2013, she said that she chose not to receive medication from doctors.

Some sports fans went as far as blaming Woodley for Rodgers’s choices. However, most agree he is an adult and is responsible for his current predicament.

Rodgers appeared on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday and tried to take on the so-called “woke mob” that is coming after him.

He explained: “I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now. So before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I would like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself.”

The athlete continued: “I believe strongly in body autonomy and the ability to make choices for your body —not to have to acquiesce to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals that say you have to do something.”

He also claimed: “The vaccines do offer some protection for sure, but there is a lot we don’t know about them. If you have gotten Covid and recovered from it, that’s the best boost to immunity you can have.”

Rodgers got in more trouble when he compared himself to civil rights icon Martin Luther King Jr. He stated: “As an aside, the great MLK said, ‘You have a moral obligation to object to unjust rules and rules that made no sense.’ In my opinion, it makes no sense to me. I test every single day. Every single day.”

Woodley and Rodgers seem to trust their gut more than science.
