Olivia Munn seems overjoyed for her ex-boyfriend as he announced his engagement to fiancée Kelly Gale earlier this week.
The 40-year-old TV host commented on an Instagram post by her ex-boyfriend, 41-year-old Swedish actor Joel Kinnaman. The pair dated from 2012 until 2014.
In the post, Kinnaman shared a picture of his fiancée — Swedish model Kelly Gale — sitting cross-legged in front of him as he knelt down with a ring to propose while the sun shone gently on the couple.
He captioned the image by telling followers “she said no” before confirming he was, in fact, joking, and 25-year-old Gale had accepted his proposal after they had dated for the last two years.
Olivia Munn commented with four “100%” emojis, proving that she is still as “happily single” as she said she was a few months ago.
After Munn and Kinnaman split in 2014, Munn went on to date quarterback Aaron Rodgers before they broke up in 2017.
When Kinnaman and Gale tie the knot, it will be his second marriage — having previously had a three-year marriage with Cleo Wattenstrom, who also commented on her ex-husband’s engagement announcement to show her support with three pink beating heart emojis.
Last year, Munn told fans she is “happy” at the moment with her life and already feels that she is in her own “happily ever after.”
She expressed that anything extra in her life — like a marriage or children — has to “add” something positive to her life because she already has “amazing girlfriends” and “pets,” making her “really really happy.”
She told Entertainment Tonight: “I’ve really come to a realization with myself that I’m already in my happily ever after,’ the actress explained. And if I want to have kids or want to get married, then I’ll do that, but it has to add to my life, you know? Everything has to add to my life.”
She added: “I’ve got amazing girlfriends. I’ve got my pets. I’ve got my career. I’m really, really happy.”
And animal welfare is clearly something which Munn is passionate about, having adopted rescue dogs of her own and encouraging her followers on social media to do the same. Her pets are sometimes seen on her Instagram stories.
Munn seems happy as a single woman, but some fans are still hoping that she will find love in the near future. She appears genuinely happy for her ex.
