It has been confirmed that one of the last conversations that Prince Harry had with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was very tense, and she had some harsh words for him.

According to royal aides, The Queen, who is furious over Duchess Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s much-talked-about interview with Oprah Winfrey, took action to let the couple know exactly how she feels.

Queen Elizabeth shared a rare statement announcing that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would be stripped of their remaining patronages and titles.

Buckingham Palace’s statement said the power couple could not keep up with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service while pursuing commercial interests, including their multi-million dollar contracts with Netflix and Spotify.

The surprising statement made it clear that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step down from their royal duties is permanent.

Minutes later, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry issued a blistering statement that said in part that “Service is universal.”

It has been revealed by royal aides that Queen Elizabeth is infuriated by the couple’s decision to air their grievances to the world via a disrespectful interview.

Before releasing the statement, Queen Elizabeth had a fiery exchange with Prince Harry, where she made her anger and frustration known.

According to a Palace official, Queen Elizabeth was blunt with Prince Harry and had these tough words for him: “You work for the monarchy, the monarchy doesn’t work for you. Tensions over the couple’s half in half out’ role in the royal family are said to have brewed behind the scenes for some time.”

Another royal insider said that the divide between the Susexes and the royal family has deepened. The person familiar with the situation explained: “They have made a roaring success of what they set out to do in the US, this independent life. And good luck to them. But you can’t have your cake and eat it. If your primary role is to serve the head of state and the monarchy, then it’s very hard to do that if you are earning millions on the side. That’s philanthropy, not public service. The couple are working with some deserving charities and causes, which is great. It’s just that the model of how they are doing it is different from how the Royal Family do it. They have chosen to live in America; they have not been exiled to America.”

A third source explained that the royal family blames Harry and his wife for instigating the drama: “Let’s be clear, the Sussexes instigated this. They jumped. But the Queen is firm: either you are a public servant, or you aren’t. You can’t line your pockets while undertaking official duties.”

Observers say that the two sides might not like the result of this fight in the media.
