King Charles And Prince William Vindicated After Former Staff Makes Revelations About Meghan Markle

When Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, along with their young son Archie exited London in 2020, there were many theories about why and what led to the big move.

Some royal observers believed Prince Harry and Markle had fallouts with Prince William and King Charles III.

Others believed that Markle was having a tough time adapting to the many rules and protocols of the British royal family.

A new book from royal correspondent Valentine Low features an interview with one of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former staff members who made the shocking revelation that it was a well-thought-out plan that no one could have stopped.

In the book Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, an ex-staffer said that Meghan Markle “wanted to be rejected” by Buckingham Palace so that she and Prince Harry could step down from their royal duties and leave the United Kingdom.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s former employee also told Low that King Charles, Prince William, and the late Queen Elizabeth II were powerless because “nothing the palace could do was ever going to be good enough” to help the couple.

Via The Daily Mail, an ex-member of staff told the author that Markle manipulated the narrative so she could face a brutal rejection that would lead to her returning home to California.

The person claimed that the Royal Family is responsible for her unhappiness and added: “She was looking for examples of us failing her from the beginning. We had to prove that the institution would bend over backward to make her happy. It felt like that wasn’t what she wanted, but that she wanted to be rejected.”

Low also wrote: “A succession of decent people, all of whom had believed in Meghan and wanted to make her position work, came to be so disillusioned that they began to suspect that even her most heartfelt pleas for help were part of a deliberate strategy that had one end in sight — her departure. Perhaps, they say, nothing the Palace could do was ever going to be good enough.”

In their stunning interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Sussexes said they left London for a long list of reasons, including the fact that they were hurting mentally and the Palace refused to help.

Markle said she was suicidal, deeply troubled by the rumors being spread, and was not authorized to fight back.

She confessed: “Look, I was really ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry especially, because I know how much loss he has suffered, but I knew that if I didn’t say it, then I would do it. I just didn’t want to be alive anymore.”

She added: “…once we were married and everything started to really worsen that I came to understand that not only was I not being protected but that they were willing to lie to protect other members of the family. They weren’t willing to tell the truth, to protect me and my husband.”

More will be known about Sussexes in the upcoming weeks. Prince Harry will publish his memoir Spare, which will focus on his childhood and marriage with Markle.

Markle and Prince Harry are set to appear in a new Netflix docuseries about their love story.
