Kendall Jenner posted on Twitter to calm speculation that she was expecting a baby after a social media blunder from her mother, Kris Jenner, left fans wondering whether the 25-year-old reality TV star was pregnant.
Kendall Jenner is currently linked to NBA star Devin Booker who she has been dating since last year. A source recently reported they are “getting serious.”
Posting to Twitter on Thursday, 65-year-old Kris Jenner tagged her daughter, Kendall, and wrote “you got this” alongside a baby’s bottle emoji.
Within minutes, social media users commented that Kendall would be the “cutest” mother and begging the model to confirm whether the rumor was true.
Later the same day, Kendall Jenner posted to her own Twitter account, noting that her mother’s earlier tweet “looked like a pregnancy announcement.”
Confused fans rushed to congratulate Kendall Jenner, thinking that she and boyfriend basketball player Devin Booker were expecting a child.
A backer said: “I’m sure lovingKendalll will be an excellent and wonderful wife and mother. The world needs much more Beauty and Love. Home, sweet homeRoseSmiling face with heart-shaped eyes.”
However, many eagle-eyed fans had already noticed that the tweet posted by Kris Jenner was a reference to the family’s reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which airs every Thursday night.
The episode released this week showed Kendall Jenner looking after her sister’s best friend, Malika‘s 4-month-old baby, Ace, after saying that she wants to have kids “badly” and “soon.”
Her older sister, Khloé Kardashian, 36, and her friend, Malika, headed out to get food, while Kendall was left behind to take care of the baby, including changing his diaper and trying to calm him down when he started crying after scratching himself on her long fingernails.
In other scenes, Kendall is looking after her other sister, Kim Kardashian‘s young children and is heard on the phone with her mom, Kris, saying she had “anxiety” and did not know what to do.
Despite her initial struggles, Kendall Jenner tells her sisters that the experience was “easy” and had made her even more excited at the prospect of having children.
Kendall did not only go viral for the tweet she posted about her “pregnancy,” but she also got very flirty with her boyfriend on the social media platform.
Kendall shared a picture on Twitter to promote her new perfume collaboration with her sister, Kim Kardashian, and Devin Booker stepped into the comment section to say that he “wants some.”
Kendall rapidly responded by letting her boyfriend know that she will personally deliver the goods to him at home.
