Moreover, their fans are convinced that they have made the big move after dating for close to four years.
After 36 years of marriage to Pegi Young, the Canadian music legend filed for divorce in July 2014. Hannah and Mr. Young made things official soon after the shocking split.
Supporters of the twosome took to social media to wish them well, and based on insider reporting, they got married over the weekend in California.
Sources say that it happened in Atascadero and only close friends were invited to mark the significant milestone.
Guitarist Mark Miller is the biggest name to allude to the wedding. He said via Facebook: “Congratulations to Daryl Hannah and Neil Young on their wedding today. May they have a long and happy relationship.”
Before Pegi, Neil was married to Susan Acevedo from 1968 to 1970. On August 25, the Kill Bill: Volume 2 star posted an interesting caption with the picture of an owl.
The note read: “Someone’s watching over us…. love & only love.” Many took the cryptic note as a form of confirmation.
In the comment section, Hannah’s friend, Rosanna Arquette, wrote a sweet message that read: “You are the whisperer to all the animals ..birds and bees follow you and protect you what a beautiful time of love and magic.”
If true, this is the first marriage for The 57-year-old environmental activist, who dated John F. Kennedy Jr. and musician Jackson Browne for a long while.
A few commenters used the opportunity to highlight Hannah’s activism. One follower stated: “I hope so! We need to watch over them. I know you know this and I’m so thankful for what you’ve stood up with your activism! Thank you, Daryl.”
It is clear that many people are rooting for those two. 5Neil once said this while talking about their relationship: “Love is like a fart – if you have to force it, it’s probably s***.”
