Despite being thousands of miles away from Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, it is claimed that Prince William still loses sleep over the couple’s every move, speech, and photoshoots.
The heir to the British throne and the future queen, Kate Middleton, despite having a family life and royal business and services to handle, have their eyes set on what is going on in California because they are concerned about the way that the power couple has been using the monarchy for their own personal gain.
Additionally, Prince William and Kate Middleton are forced to pay serious attention to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s public actions because they are in “danger of being dragged into a transatlantic popularity contest” with them.
Recently, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, and his wife appeared on the cover of TIME magazine.
The duo earned spots on TIME magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2021.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and the prince appeared in a series of glamourous photos taken outside of their California mansion.
The pair of philanthropists and public speakers struck several poses to show that they are a power couple.
The heavily edited photos had many experts saying that Meghan Markle demonstrated in almost every picture that she is the leader and is the most important person in the room.
Talking to the Daily Mail, body language expert Darren Stanton said this about Meghan Markle’s powerful pictures: “Harry is standing straight to arrive his hands his pockets Megan is adopting a classic power pose noticed at a distance. She has placed her feet widely apart; this is a classic power gesture used by major world politicians seen in recent times, including Trump, Putin, Macron, and Trudo.”
He went on to share: “The image of the pair walking woods also is quite revealing although they are looking at each other holding hands we can see from Meghan’s left-hand position it is off and off out of her pocket thumb is showing again this is a powerful gesture to say “I am the more powerful person.”
Royal author Duncan Larcombe says Prince William and Kate Middleton are “absolutely concerned” and “anxious” about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s photos and added: “Kate and William are in danger of being dragged into a transatlantic popularity contest. They will feel anxious over the cover and everything Harry and Meghan do as it always seems to reflect on them.”
He went on to make this revelation about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge: “William and Kate are concerned about absolutely everything that comes out of America in regards to Harry and Meghan, especially Harry’s tell-all warts and all memoir that’s going to hit the shelves sometime next year. They have no control over the narrative.”
The “transatlantic popularity contest” continued with Sussex and Cambridge making bold and public appearances just days apart — respectively pushing vaccine equality in New York and a James Bond movie premiere in London.
The fight for the limelight will continue with both couples planning tours, charity events, and speeches in the fall.
