The source added: “They are fully expected to be invited.”
The Queen paid a moving tribute to her “beloved” Prince Philip in her annual Christmas Day message by saying: “Christmas was a time of great happiness and good cheer for many; it can be hard for those who have lost loved ones. This year, especially, I understand why.”
