Prince Charles Uses The American Media To Send A Clear Message To Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Prince Charles Harry Meghan Markle Olive Branch

It has been revealed by many sources close to Prince Harry and Prince Charles that they are not on good terms.

The royal insiders claimed in late 2021 that the relationship between the heir to the throne and his youngest son and Meghan Markle had hit a wall.

Prince Charles and Prince Harry had not spoken for several months for a long list of reasons.

The drama started with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shocking decision to step down from their roles as working royals and moving to California.

Matters took a drastic turn because of the multiple scandalous interviews conducted by the British prince and his spouse, where they levied a series of accusations against the royal family.

Meghan Markle and the former soldier dropped the bombshell that a member of the royal family made racist remarks about their unborn children.

Months later, a bestselling royal author claimed that Prince Charles was the one who made the comments about his biracial grandchildren’s skin color.

Despite all the drama and heartaches, it seems that all hope is not lost for reconciliation between Prince Harry and his father, Prince Charles.

Prince Charles reached out directly to Prince Harry and, by association, Meghan Markle and offered an unexpected olive branch using American media.

In an essay that Newsweek published, Prince Charles praised Prince Harry’s passionate work on highlighting the impact of climate change.

In a New Year essay that called for actions to protect and save the environment, Prince Charles directly named Prince Harry and Prince William for their outreach.

Prince Charles said: “Most recently, my elder son, William, launched the prestigious Earthshot Prize to incentivize change and help repair our planet over the next ten years by identifying and investing in the technologies that can make a difference.

He added: “And my younger son, Harry, has passionately highlighted the impact of climate change, especially in relation to Africa, and committed his charity to being net-zero.”

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams weighed in on the matter by saying it is a significant act towards reconciliation with his son and daughter-in-law.

He told the Sun: “I do think this tribute is very significant because this is one thing that Charles, William, and Harry share in common, and that is the need to fight climate change. Harry’s relations with his father have, of course, been extremely strained.”

Fitzwilliams continued: “The fact that Charles has done this in Newsweek, which has a large circulation in America, I think it’s clearly a form of an olive branch in the hope that there will be a form of reconciliation.”

The expert believes that Prince Charles’s olive branch will have strings attached. He stated: “I think if you offer an olive branch, it’s only reasonable to expect something in return.”

Time will tell if the power couple will accept the olive branch.
