It might be the royal snub of the century, and this time around, it does not involve Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Kim Kardashian was given a hard no, and you are not VIP material from 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II and the rest of the royal family.
This week, Queen Elizabeth is celebrating her 70th year on the British throne with many parades, pageantry, and one major concert that will include performances by Alicia Keys and Diana Ross.
It has been revealed by the Daily Mail that Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, flew to England hoping to score invitations to the biggest event of the year.
Having Kim Kardashian at the royal concert would have been huge publicity for the royal family, who despite their enormous fortunes, still enjoy the opportunity to be in the spotlight.
Representatives for The Kardashians star reached out to the royal clan for tickets to the Platinum Party at the Palace on Saturday, and the royal family turned them down.
After officials at Buckingham Palace rejected Kardashian’s pleas, she turned to BBC, hoping that her star power and a massive following on social media would sway them.
The British media company was not convinced by Kardashian, and she was slapped with another rejection.
A source told the British publication that it was a shock to Kim Kardashian because she is never refused anything in her privileged Hollywood life and successful career.
They stated: “Kim rarely gets turned down to attend any event, so this has been quite surprising, especially as she doesn’t visit the UK often. Kim and Pete love the Royal Family and really wanted to be a part of this special celebration.”
The insider went on to say that Kardashian was so desperate to obtain the tickets that she told The Palace that “she doesn’t mind if the tickets are not VIP.”
The Palace had 10,000 tickets — and 7,500 were given to key British workers in the Armed Forces, volunteers, and charities.
The other 3,000 have been distributed to family, friends, and VIP guests and dignitaries.
It is not known what the billionaire reality TV star will do during the remainder of her trip to London after the royal snub.
As Kim Kardashian is reeling from having her surprising royal dream dashed, she is also facing some drama back in America.
While she was parading around London, making plans to take part in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Kardashian launched the beauty brand SKKN BY KIM.
Fans were quick to point out that back in October, Lori Harvey unveiled SKN by LH. Another Black woman Cyndie Lunsford who is the owner of SKKN+, since July 2017, has lawyered up to go after Kim Kardashian for “stealing” her brand.
