Prince Harry went through a roller coaster of emotions as his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was rendering her last breath.
When the news broke that Her Majesty‘s health had turned for the worse and that she had a few hours to live, many royal family members rushed to Balmoral Castle in Scotland to say their final goodbyes.
Prince William, Andrew, and other royals drove past Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s Fromogre Cottage, boarded a private plane, and left him in London to fend for himself.
In the middle of the sad and chaotic event, confusion was added when a spokesperson revealed that Prince Harry and Markle were desperately searching for a private plane or helicopter to travel to Scotland to see Her Majesty before she passed.
It has now been revealed via The Sun that Prince Harry received a phone call from King Charles, who was at his mother’s death bed.
He had some harsh words about Prince Harry’s decision to bring Markle to Scotland. King Charles said Markle was not welcomed, according to the British media outlet.
King Charles also explained to Prince Harry that Kate Middleton would not be traveling to Balmoral, alluding that Markle should do the same.
A royal insider told the publication: “Charles told Harry that it wasn’t right or appropriate for Meghan to be in Balmoral at such a deeply sad time. It was pointed out to him that Kate was not going and that the numbers really should be limited to the very closest family. Charles made it very, very clear Meghan would not be welcome.”
While in Scotland, mourning the death of Her Majesty, Prince Harry continued to pay for his troublesome ways as he was snubbed by the new King of England.
A source from within The Palace told The Daily Mail‘s Richard Kay that King Charles hosted a dinner with Prince William and declined to invite Prince Harry, who ate alone the night The Queen died.
The royal expert revealed: “Two dinners were being hosted on the royal estate that night, and there was a clear divide: One was for the new king and his heir, the other was for the rest of the family.”
As Queen Elizabeth makes her last trip to London, her family has decided to put the drama and feuding aside to show the world a united front.
Prince Harry and Markle’s status is no longer persona non grata. The renegade royals have been elevated as they reunited with Prince William and Kate Middleton to greet mourners outside of Windsor.
The brothers, their spouses, stood behind King Charles this evening as Her Majesty’s casket arrived at Buckingham Palace.
It is not known if the unity will last, but royal backers have their hopes up high.
