Khloé Kardashian has brought fans the collaboration that no one saw coming. The reality TV star has enlisted Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas from TLC for a new collection for Good American.
The CrazySexyGood line debuted on Instagram Wednesday. It is a play on the iconic group’s 1994 album called CrazySexyCool. Fans were thrilled and thanked Kardashian for taking that route.
For the two ladies, the brand is in perfect alignment with their idea of sexiness. Chilli said in an interview with Cosmopolitan that they did not hesitate when the opportunity showed up.
It is all about empowering women regardless of size. She explained: “When Good American approached us to collaborate on this campaign, it was an absolute no-brainer—their message of empowering women is everything we’ve always stood for as a group. It’s rare to see a brand like Good American so unapologetically preaching that women don’t need to change their bodies, their style, or who they are to be considered ‘sexy,’ and this is something that has always been important to us as well.”
T-Boz said they stay true to their original style, and that is why the new collection works. She revealed: “We were all tomboys back then, and that was reflected a lot in our personal style. We strived to be trendsetters and push the envelope when it came to our fashion and what it meant for girls to be ‘sexy.’ We always wanted to prove to young women that wearing an oversized tee and baggy jeans can still be sexy—because sexy is a feeling of confidence that comes from within!”
Interestingly, the collaboration comes out one week after an episode of The Kardashians where her mother, Kris Jenner, tells Kardashian that she does not need boob implants because she is “perfect.”
The mom of two shared her reasoning for the plastic surgery. She revealed: “I’m not doing a Pam Anderson situation. It’s literally what I was before I lost… I just want a little… you know what, I’ll call you later.”
The businesswoman has a lot going on. She also has to deal with her ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. On Thursday’s episode of the program, she stated: “I felt as if the whole theater was staring at me. I was just like, ‘This is so awkward.’ Because it’s like, ‘what a crock of s–t. What the f–k? I believed you, and I was listening to you, and I was receiving everything you said. But you’re a f–king liar!'”
The fitness enthusiast knows how to get headlines.
