In a matter of days, Kate Middleton will hit a significant milestone, and she will celebrate her 40th birthday.
Prince William‘s wife will mark the occasion with a special celebration, but she is already being warned not to follow Meghan Markle‘s route.
It is claimed that Prince Harry pulled all the stops for his wife and hired a top party planner who previously organized events for Hollywood megastars like Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston.
While not many details were revealed to the public, it seems that Markle enjoyed a lavish affair in August.
She could not take advantage of her A-lister status and have a massive party in 2020 because of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
However, it seems that in 2021, Prince Harry made sure she was treated like the royalty that she is for her special day.
A royal author said he highly doubts that Prince William and his wife would take a romantic trip and leave their children behind.
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is expected to have a low-key gathering with her closest family members and cherished friends.
Kate Middleton’s sister-in-law, Meghan Markle, used her birthday celebration to launch an initiative called 40×40 by making a comical appearance on a TV show.
The scheme, which was supposed to help unemployed women, did not meet its goal.
Royal expert Duncan Larcombe did an interview, revealed to OK!, and explained that the Duchess of Cambridge’s birthday would be a “deliberately modest” affair.
He also claims that the royal family, including Kate Middleton, are done with trying to outdo the Duchess of Sussex, which would explain why no big announcements will be made on the future queen’s behalf.
The royal commentator said: “It will be low-key, and it will be focused entirely on the family. Kate and William are not the sort to go away to celebrate on their own and leave the kids at home. I think the same will apply to Kate’s birthday as it does to Christmas – it will be low-key, and it will be focused entirely on the family.”
He went on to reveal why Middleton will not be competing with Markle by saying: “She’s unlikely to [announce a new project on her birthday, unlike Meghan who launched a mentorship program to mark her 40th] because, firstly, it’s just not her way and secondly because of the obvious comparisons with Meghan and this awful continuation of one-upmanship that the palace is so keen to avoid.”
The competition is always subliminal.
