Woman, Who Said Cops Arrested Her For Looking Too Good, Accused Of Stabbing Her Mother To Death

Hend Bustami Nevada Too Beautiful Arrest

A woman from Las Vegas, Nevada, who previously claimed that the police arrested her for being too good-looking, has been accused of killing her mother.

Hend Bustami, who is 28 years old, was arrested on Wednesday in Barstow, California, at around 5:30 in the morning.

Authorities had found the body of her mother about three hours before at a Las Vegas residence. She was 62, and the home is located in the 10000 block of June Flower Drive. Cops believe that Bustami is the one who alerted them during a frantic phone call.

The victim suffered multiple lacerations. Police do not know what happened and if there was a specific motive behind the murder.

Las Vegas Metropolitan police Lt. Dave Valenta spoke to the Las Vegas Review-Journal and said: “At approximately 2:30 in the morning, a 911 dispatcher received a phone call from a frantic female stating that her mother was dead. Then the line was disconnected.”

People in the area are not really surprised by what unfolded. They say the home was very noisy, and fights occurred there from time to time.

Andres Moreno, a neighbor, spoke with 8NewsNow and revealed: “Usually 10 pm or later, they would just be screaming in the backyard or they’d be fighting. It was usually the older daughter and the mother that would get into it. Of course, shortly after screaming, police presence would be involved, and things would get all, you know, settled down. Then a week later, it’d happen again.”

Mr. Moreno also said that Bustami often acted in very bizarre ways. He continued: “She would come outside and literally spin in her driveway, singing songs or talking to herself in her driveway, or she’d just walk up and down the street muttering to herself. I believe she had mental health issues, and she did desperately need help and maybe chose not to get it. Or, you know, who am I to say, but there was obviously something going on with her.”

In the past year, authorities came to the residence at least 12 times. The visits included seven “family disturbances” and one suicide attempt.

In August, Bustami grabbed headlines for an incident at Harry Reid International Airport. She skipped the tab at Chili’s Tex-Mex and told the officers “she was being harassed because cops [had] never seen anyone as pretty as her.”

The police report continued: “officers were perverts and were trying to rape her because they [had] never seen anyone as good-looking.”

She graduated from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2017 with a degree in Hospitality Administration and Management.

Bustami, who also works as a DJ under the name Afrodyté, was supposed to appear in court on Wednesday in the case where she faces misconduct charges.

After getting extradited from California, she could be charged with open murder in Nevada.
