Close friends of Prince William have confirmed what the press already suspected — he worked hand in hand with King Charles III to have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle evicted from Frogmore Cottage.
In a statement released by Prince Harry and Markle, they confirmed that King Charles has requested that they move from the home.
The duo has till the summer to pack their belongings and vacate the property. King Charles broke the news to Prince Harry and Markle almost immediately after publishing his best-selling memoir Spare.
His Majesty deemed Prince Harry calling Camilla, Queen Consort, a “wicked stepmother” and the “other woman” was too much and hit the punishment button by booting him out of the royal home.
A friend of Prince Harry and Camilla, Queen Consort, told the Daily Beast that Prince William supported his father’s actions and added: “Charles is not making these decisions in isolation. He has the support of his son and heir and is working in partnership with him. They are a unit and are closer than ever.”
However, it appears that the punishment is not enough for the heir to the throne, who is said to be raging in anger because Prince Harry not only ruined his reputation but caused irreparable damage to Kate Middleton‘s perfect mother/wife/future Queen image.
The only satisfying punishment would be to ban Prince Harry and his family from attending the coronation.
The pal claimed that Prince William hates Prince Harry to the point that he would be delighted if he never came to England ever again.
The friend said: “William won’t shed a tear if Harry doesn’t make it. He feels utterly betrayed by Harry. Relations have never been this bad, and he hates him for what he has done to the family in the books and interviews. He will support whatever decision his dad makes, but it’s no secret he would prefer it if he wasn’t there or, indeed, never stepped foot in England again.”
For some surprising reason, King Charles rejected Prince William’s supreme punishment. His Majesty wants Prince Harry and Markle to attend the coronation ceremony.
The Daily Beast reports: “That Harry and Meghan will still be invited to the coronation and that the family and officials are still acting under the assumption they will be there. The friend reiterated this, saying: “It is clearly entirely up to them if they accept the invite. Plans are being made on the basis that they will.”
The Duke of Sussex and his wife have not said much about the coronation.
