Prince Harry Is Pushed Into Disastrous Meeting With King Charles

Prince Harry is discovering that he has a lot riding on his upcoming trip to Europe with Meghan Markle.

The former British prince will travel to Germany for the Invictus Games, and he will make a brief visit to London to take part in the annual WellChild Awards.

A source close to both Prince Harry and Prince William has confirmed that there will be no family reunion to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II on the anniversary of her passing.

Even though the decision was made public, some royal watchers are pushing or even luring Prince Harry to an unsuccessful meeting with King Charles III.

Markle’s husband has been told to swallow his pride, put his ego aside, and reach out to King Charles to resolve their ongoing family feud.

In a sit-down with Express royal expert, Marlene Koenig told Prince Harry that it is time to have a real attempt at a conversation with his father, even if it ends badly.

She stated: “I think this would be a good opportunity for Harry to swallow his pride and see his father privately.”

She predicted that the tête-à-tête would be doomed from the start, but it would reassure His Majesty that his love for Prince Harry is mutual, even if they do not see eye to eye at the moment.

The royal commentator stated: “It might not be a successful meeting, but I think it is important for the King to see his younger son because he’s made it clear [that] he loves Harry.”

Koenig tried to push Prince Harry into the disastrous meeting by revealing that King Charles is on holiday in Scotland, which implies he is calm, well-rested, and receptive to his pleas for forgiveness.

She shared: “Seriously, this would be a good time to visit his father, who will be spending time quietly at Balmoral on the 8th, perhaps with other members of the family.”

She concluded by sharing what she expects Prince Harry will actually do. Koenig added: “On the other hand, Harry could also do a quick trip after the awards to Heathrow airport, and jump on a plane back home to California. I think this will be the option most people will expect.”

Prince Harry hinted back in May, while at his father’s coronation ceremony, that he would love to meet with him and Prince William.

The Duke of Sussex also confirmed that, despite his best efforts to communicate with his brother and father, he had hit a dead end.

So maybe it is the right time and mood for some kind of reconciliation with the royals.
