Former actress turned royal princess Meghan Markle has decided to fully embrace the businesswoman and celebrity she has always wanted to be.
Of course, Prince Harry‘s family is not happy about it. However, there is little they can do about what Markle is about to do.
In the upcoming months, Meghan Markle has decided to go where no royal has gone before. Without Prince Harry, the Hollywood star has opted to cash in via Instagram.
The mother of two, like Kim Kardashian, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Dwayne Johnson, will use her fame, title, and popularity to make millions of dollars via paid posting.
Markle has already created a page via @meghan and has more than 100,000 followers, even though it has zero posts. Meghan Markle has not officially made the move, but she is already being told it is the wrong one.
In a bizarre twist, experts do not believe Markle will fail, but they are adamant that she will humiliate King Charles III, and Queen Camilla, who were involved in the “tampongate” drama and survived and are not the heads of monarchy.
Veterans in the PR game and royal commentators say Markle will embarrass the monarchy. Yet the institution has been standing for centuries despite wars, sex and pedophile scandals, slavery, and more.
One expert decided to warn Markle about her decision to post about clothes, shoes, yoga pants, candles, coffee, and anti-stress patches on Instagram.
Prince Harry, who backs his wife, is not expected to be part of the Instagram package, he has plans to do documentaries in Africa. Talking to Express, Edward Coram-James, CEO at GoUp, said Markle will further anger the British people and added: “A British royal so flagrantly commercializing their position and behaving like an American reality TV star is bound to further imbed this national upset.”
The leading PR and reputation management expert predicts if Markle goes through with the venture she will abuse cultural traditions.
He stated: “Reputationally, reopening Instagram is yet another bad move in a long line of bad moves. Unless it is purely charitable work with no personal publicity or commercial incentive, anything she posts will open her up to more accusations of hypocrisy, attention seeking, and abusing long and deeply held cultural traditions, as well as her position and titles.”
He went on to say that Markle is now in a position where she is forced to choose between feeding her family, paying for security, or doing the right thing to please the royals.
He said: “But, practically, she may feel that she has no choice. And, when you have a young family to feed and, most importantly, to protect, you often put pride aside and do what is practical, not necessarily what is right.”
Coram-James concluded by saying that only King Charles III and the British government can stop Markle.
He said: “From a crisis communications and PR point of view, if the British government wishes for the Sussexes to keep a lower profile, then they need to meet them halfway. The Sussexes need to accept that their behavior to date has largely backfired, and caused a lot of national hurt and embarrassment in the meantime. They need to keep a lower profile and stop fighting fire with fire.”
“Abusing long and deeply held cultural traditions” seems to be the last thing on Markle’s mind, for she seems at peace with her decision to close the royal chapter.
These days, Markle is solely focused on being a supportive wife, being a good mother, and creating generational wealth for her two children.
