While Kate Middleton has made being a working royal look easy, according to one royal expert, it is not and for that reason, she should be rewarded.
The middle-class college graduate entered the Royal Family over two decades ago. She dated Prince William, broke up, reconciled, and took the endless scrutiny from the media and heavy criticism from members of the Royal Family who believed that she did not fit or was not good enough.
Middleton has been hit with numerous rumors of affairs, including one involving her friend, Rose Hanbury.
Since Queen Camila became her superior, Kate Middleton has been forced to take a back seat at important royal events — it seems that she has been banned from wearing tiaras and cannot borrow any significant piece of jewelry from Queen Elizabeth II‘s royal collection.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been accused of copying fashionista Meghan Markle‘s lavish outfits and hairstyles.
In the past few months, her wardrobe has taken a massive hit, she downgraded to simple suits and has been wearing casual pants. Middleton has been slammed for her wigs, hair extensions, and physique.
Prince Louis has put her in some rather tough positions during major public events. However, despite it all, she flashes a smile, takes part in royal engagements, and mingles with royalists and charity workers.
She avoids scandals, keeps a low profile, and does what she is told. PR expert Eddie Coram James told The Daily Express US that Middleton has earned all her privileges; she has the right to skip an event and stay with her children if she chooses to.
Coram James said: “The Princess of Wales has remained broadly controversy-free for years. She’s kept her head down, not made a fuss, worked hard, and dedicated herself to good causes. Given the context, of course, the press has given her a free pass to give her the benefit of the doubt.”
He added: “When she says she wants to miss Earthshot to focus on parenting, people trust that that is probably the case.”

Some critics still say that things are harder for Markle.
