Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been told there are new rules in place for them to have the slightest access to King Charles III this new year.
Needless to say, the protective barriers put around King Charles are strict, well-calculated, and impenetrable.
According to a royal source, King Charles and the heir to the throne, Prince William, were forced to take a tougher stance against Prince Harry after his many coups at destroying the family and the monarchy with his revelations and accusations.
Another reason for King Charles to be careful and put these measures in place is that there is a huge possibility that both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to publish books this year after signing a massive deal with Penguin.
King Charles stopped playing the role of the kind-hearted and naive father after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle slapped down many of his invitations to vacation with him at Balmoral Castle.
A Palace insider spoke to the Express to explain that a meeting between Prince Harry and The Monarch will be done under some tough conditions because trust is gone.
The source stated: “There is very little trust there, which is understandable. If there will be a meeting, it will have to be done properly with aides and officials present and everything documented with minutes taken.”
Talking to Geo News, royal expert Ingrid Seward revealed that there is a big possibility that Prince Harry and his wife will reunite with His Majesty this year.
She went on to explain: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will reunite with King Charles. The couple needs the King and his blessing far more than the King needs them, and they feel that they will be seeing him. Obviously, King Charles wants to see his son and his grandchildren, and last summer he apparently invited them to Balmoral, which they turned down.”
However, Prince Harry might view all these walls as rather insulting and ridiculous because he is the son of The King of England, and he is being asked to jump through rather complicated hoops to see or speak with his own father.
This may even lead to colder relations in the long term, rather than teaching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a lesson. Only time will tell if the reconciliation that many are hoping for will ever take place.
The Sussexes will have a tough choice to make in the upcoming months.
